For big hungry superchubs you can only imagine just how much food we need to stack up and it's not easy keeping stock.
If anything it'll be easier to just shop once a month and buy everything in big bulk and just not worry until next month however that's not the case especially the funds.
Instead we do shopping at least twice a month so food to hold us every two weeks.
How we do the shopping? We used to do the somewhat typical way which was BigFattyBC would wait in the car while I go shop since I can walk longer than he can.
But we rarely do that instead we moved to doing grocery pick up which did save us a lot of time and all we needed to do was just pick up the groceries the staff would pack it in the car and off we go.
But NOW that BigFattyBC and I both have trouble getting in and out of the current car (it's a 2019 Nissan Rogue) and so we mostly have the groceries delivered to us.
That all sounds fine and dandy however now we need to pay extra of course for the services and I have to admit I do feel so bad when I get a driver getting all the pile of foods and having to make more than one trip to get all the goods by then end they're exhausted!
So BigFattyBC and I we do tip well with the delivery people so you can understand all this becomes costly.
As well the quantity of foods also adds on and some basic foods has increased in quantities.
For example loaf of bread we used to get at least two loaves but now we need to double it!
Eggs, a carton of 12 was enough for the two weeks now that's double or even tripled we need to purchase one that comes in either in 18 or in 24.
Even milk (heh and this is my own fault cause I LOVE milk) we would got 1 or even 2 jugs of 4 litre milk ...... Now it's become 3-4 jugs and those would be gone in two weeks time.... (Yes I'm very addicted to milk!)
So with all this in mind the cost can really rack up in a month!!
I'm talking about spending well over $600 on groceries a month (this including taxes (13% tax) and delivery/tip cost) so at least $300 (if not more) every 2 weeks on food.
And this isn't including eating out! That's a whole other thing! Lol!
Unfortunately eating out or delivery has decreased a lot because of cost.
Anyways now you can somewhat better know the struggles a hungry gainer go through when it comes to food! So yes definitely if we had a local friend who can do the grocery for us that'll save a ton on delivery fees heh and well of that friend doesn't mind the labour of carrying our food over to our apartment well you'll be awesome and yes in return you can rub our bellies as payment!
