2023-01-09 17:17:23 +0000 UTCRegarding the Salem's Lot talk at the end: the Royal River (and indeed all the local geography aside from the Lot itself) are entirely real and roughly correspond to Yarmouth, ME--I first read the book over the summer while catching up on back episodes and it was super disconcerting to find a vampire story effectively set in the town where I went to high school.

2022-12-13 18:49:49 +0000 UTCI remember watching this at the age of 7 and was my first horror movie. Most kids got scarred by gore, I was haunted by the concept of the Past, Time Beholders, and a dude with heavy items in pillow cases.
