Then I woke up and realized it was real! Or it wasn't real, but it happened in a movie. We watched the horror classic, and Steve's beloved film, Village of the Damned. 2024-04-10 22:13:54 +0000 UTCokay i had to join the patreon just to say this but i NEED to know you guys’ll watch Rose Red at some point. my first intro to King as a teen was through his movie adaptations and originals first, and then i read the books in my later teens; but i’m OBSESSED with everything about Rose Red. it lead me to read Haunting of Hill House (and i bet Mike Flanagan too) and i even read the “The Dairy of Ellen Rimbaur” (which i have zero clue whether King was involved in) but ah it’s one of my all time fave pieces of weird King media
