BTS' Dark & Wild Album Reaction (Livestream Recording)

Even though I've been an ARMY for years, it is my first time listening to most of these songs. I am discovering new songs with you and they are surprisingly amazing. I love "Let me know" & "Rain" and listen to them a lot. "Can you turn off your phone" is new for me but I am loving it. I am not addicted to social media, but to dramas and movies. I find that even worse. I need to work on my addiction, but it is so f*** hard.

Lol the great thing about bts is that they really don’t have a lane they stick to ! Like this one album alone has so many diff kinds of songs if you look at like rain vs cypher 3 vs what am I to you etc etc. so of course not every song will hit everybody as equally ! It’s what’s so fun about it. And it’s also fun to have those opinions change or sometimes you’re in the mood for certain songs over others. But even the BTS songs that are near the bottom of my list, there’s always at least something I admire about them. Anyways, rain is prob my fave off this album. I feel like it transports me to a whole other place in my head. And makes me feel wistful almost ! LOL on cypher 3, I loved the jaw drop at the Hugo boss line. Truly incredible stuff there so I get it. Also I just had to laugh at your take on can you turn off your phone 😂 like breaking news: communication coach big into in-person interaction hahahah just got a kick out of that

I would recommend to listen to the studio version of Blanket kick since imo its much better than the live version, has some really nice guitar that you cant really appreciate in the same way in the live version plus the vocals and harmonies too, the choreo is cute but a bit distracting maybe when listening to the song for the first time. ( another name for this song is Embarrassed if you look for it on spotify). Since you liked Just one day I think this song will grow on you if you listen to the studio version.

*update* This was just as good as i expected it to be! There is definitely something about watching someone take pleasure in something you find enjoyable/are passionate about. I became a fan in 2015 so not long after this album dropped and it was the first album i bought of theirs and will always have a special place in my heart. I can't wait for you to get into their HYYH era and maybe even dive a lil into the Bangtan Universe (not essential but it does give some context to their MVs such as Fake Love etc..) I feel like you'll really enjoy it and i'm equal parts excited and honoured to be able to see it through with you! There's nothing like a mutual joy haha. Thank you again! I'm awful with words but you always seem to be able to articulate mine so smoothly in ways i'm unable to!

Oh too bad you haven't reacted to the Cypher pt.3 performance, it's objectively the best one. Totally not biased 😇

Loved every minute of this. Dark & Wild as a whole didn't excite me too much at first but it has grown on me a lot overtime. It's hard for me to pick stand outs on this one as they're all kind of hidden gems. It was a fun era with cool emo boy band visuals, Tae and JK were definitely thriving lol.
