2022-07-09 10:25:40 +0000 UTCSeventeen is fascinating to watch imo. They actually only have 4 or 5 extroverts in the group (Seungkwan, Mingyu, Vernon, Joshua and Dino) out of 13. The rest is just very comfortable within the group. S.Coups is indeed more of a relaxed, chill leader, someone who leads from the back ? His main role is to mediate between the group and their agency, to represent his members and voice their desires and concerns to the management. He's mentioned before that he doesn't think he needs to lead all the time because some of the other members are better at handling certain situations (Seungkwan is their public speaker, Hoshi their performance leader, Woozi their music producer etc). He will only step in if he feels like things are getting too chaotic. The members really respect his authority and will immediately calm down when he does though.

They also did a 2KR series a few years ago that would be fun to explore in the future. If you wanted to do more TXT, this one would be good (I’ve seen it suggested here before for sure). 2022-07-08 15:00:33 +0000 UTCOh yeah you did a great job catching on their names! I think the only one you didn't have was Jeonghan, sitting next to S.Coups and wearing the blue cardigan. The S from S.Coups is pronunced as the letter, so it'd be 'Es-Coops', but other than that the names pronunciation overall was also good :) For future videos, maybe it could help also to watch them interact in smaller groups. Seventeen is composed of three units with each a sub-leader, and S.Coups is both the general leader and the leader of the unit he's in: - The Vocal unit: Woozi (leader), Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, Seungkwan - The Performance unit: Hoshi (leader), Jun, The8, Dino - The Hip Hop unit: S.Coups (leader), Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon So you may often them split up into these groups in interviews or shows as well, though of course not all the time. They also use those units to explain their name: they're 13 members, with 3 units, which makes 1 team. 13+3+1=17. Though you may hear that directly from them in another video, as they've been repeating it even years after their debut haha.
