SEVENTEEN - Superlatives Part 1 (Uncut: 24 Minutes)

the fact that seungkwan and vernon are not only the same age, but best friends, and the reason being what you pointed out! They're such opposites but fit so well together. They bring out good qualities in each other and are the perfect balance of chaos and calm.

When you watch Going you should watch the Mousebusters episodes. It's a three-part series, but it really showcases the member's personalities. It especially shows Jun's mischievous and fun personality which you do not get to see in interviews.

No problem, thank you for all the Seventeen content, it's been great and much appreciated!!

Ah! That’s cool of them. And that makes sense. See, context is everything. Thx for letting me know.

Nice @mallory I was going to mention Hit the Road also but completely forgot. 💕

For Seungkwan being best looking - something to note is that as a trainee, Seungkwan was often criticized by the CEO/trainers for being too chubby. I think the guys are throwing him a compliment because he's been looking very thin but healthy lately! Mingyu is one of the group's typical visuals here and is the one that's traditionally looked at as a model.

I appreciate you taking the time to react to Seventeen despite how the amount of members can be intimidating initially. You mentioned that you wanted to see if Seungkwan has a more serious/vulnerable side. In addition to being an amazing vocalist, he's well known for his humor and personality and appears on a lot of variety shows even outside of Going Seventeen. However, during Seventeen's tours when they give speeches he often gets very emotional in these moments and shows his sincerity. Generally, in my opinion, DK and Seungkwan both have loud personas in the group but are also two of the best members at displaying their emotions when it really counts. I don't know if anyone has recommended the series "Hit the Road" yet, but it's a documentary available on YouTube split up into member specific episodes. They're not very long either. It's more serious in tone for the most part as it shows what each member is going through and their struggles behind the scenes of their last World tour pre-pandemic in 2019-2020. This could be a good way to learn more about the individual members as they don't really hide much. It kind of reminds me of BTS' Burn the Stage but a slightly different format. Here is a link to the playlist if you're interested: https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLk_UmMfvZDx2IVSjmEwo4Q7o-GlEZODFa ALSO, here is a website made by a Seventeen fan with links to a bunch of different playlists of their music videos, performances, interviews, appearances, livestreams, and reality shows all in one convenient place. I hope it will be useful in your journey, even though there's a lot of content. https://svtflixforcarats.carrd.co/ Sorry for the long response. If you read all of this, thank you! I really appreciate it.

Funny that Seungkwan and Vernon are the same age and only 1 year older than the maknae. They are also quite close friends. You should also know that every single member of this group feels completely comfortable teasing any other member as well as complementing even if some are backhanded. Woozi is confident and sincere but quite introverted and shy. He has said before that his resting place (quenciera)s/p is all the members of Seventeen. He loves them very much. However he is also quite ruthless when he does tease. Lol Mingyu actually will fill the gap when members are missing. However he also doesn't need to. He has his own space and personality to fill. I saw the other comments talk about Jun enough. Hoshi is a mess. He is as funny as Seungkwan but maybe not as aware of his surroundings. There is a gag trio, BSS, Seungkwan, Hoshi and DK. They have a song too and a comeback song planned for the end of the year. They are considered the funniest members. Though all are quite funny and interesting. Seungkwan is a bit more of a pro than the others though. He has been a regular cast member on at least 5 variety shows in the last 2 or 3 years. In 2018 he won a Rookie Entertainer Award and last year he won Male Idol Entertainer. From very early on though he would make himself aware of all cameras etc before filming. He's also been promoting the group a lot on his own. He is a lead vocal but also considered a Face of the group. Mingyu is also considered a Face of the group from being an MC and doing multiple promotional things. So maybe before Going seventeen you could watch this little thing that came out recently by Glamour. It gives each member a chance to talk and they interact with each other. It also splits then up into 2 groups. It's less than 10min. Its a cute glimpse of them as they are now. Seventeen Take a Friendship Test https://youtu.be/lfdwYDYyy5c P.s. I'm sorry I write in a big blob of text. It drives my husband crazy. 😁

I think Seungkwan feels a lot of responsibility to make the interview, show or whatever it might be fun for everybody, including Seventeen themselves but also the viewers. He has always had this role in Svt since debut and works very hard to promote the team on Variety shows. I think it could be easy to see him as an attention seeker but the guys themselves have expressed very often how thankful the are for him. Anyways I really enjoy these and as someone who has watched a lot of their content I feel like a lot of your observations are super accurate it‘s pretty impressive! :) Looking forward to more!

Loved the video, Max! I hope when you get the chance you can react to some of Seventeen's variety content on their channel called Going Seventeen! I know you are reacting to a lot of groups right now, but hopefully in the future, you can check out EXO! They are apart of the same company as Shinee and debuted in 2012! They have a lot of great songs and content!

Hi Max Appreciate so much for your reactions for Seventeen. I really loves how you got most of their personality right based on few videos. Awesome! Woozi is really quiet when on others interview but really playful and trickster when they are among each other. You can see their relaxed side in their Variety Show Going Seventeen. Its okay.. their var show is really hard to watch for beginner for the amount of people they areyou can check more of their interview first to really grasp on them. I would suggest you to watch Going Seventeen 1 million won first as this episode is about negotiating and communication skills among the groups. You can see how they talk to each other and the power negotiator Jeonghan and Woozi contribution in this episode. Ep 1 https://youtu.be/gziEl4Q4CcY Ep 2 https://youtu.be/d3MOlnbzWBM Also the collaborations between MMTG and Going Seventeen also is a good introduction to see the boys contrast approach when they are on the other program vs Going Seventeen. MMTG is a news/variety program on Youtube and they have a lot of fun in their past interviews together and decided to do a collaborations.. you can see the contrast of the boys when they switch to their content MMTG x GoSe (broadcast at MMTG yt channel) Ep1 https://youtu.be/JGQ37rONfNk Ep 2 https://youtu.be/urHnf3zfX9w GoSe x MMTG (Broadcastat SEVENTEEN channel) Ep 3 https://youtu.be/W1PJatlxhWc Take your time Max.. they have a lot of content and I am here to support you too in you Seventeen Journey (we called it slip into the diamond life) Love, a Carat (Seventeen Fandom Name)

I know you've gotten a lot of Going Seventeen recommendations but the ones I personally think are the best for analysis are their Don't Lie episodes and the 1 Million Won episodes. Both of them are episodes where they play social mind games where they have to talk a lot, so they're really good episodes to see their communication styles, group dynamics, and personalities. I saw others recommend the MBTI episodes which I think are really good but there's not much to analyze from a communication perspective since they spend most of the episode just reading the MBTI descriptions for each member, but they are good to understand them members' personalities better. Thanks for your Seventeen reactions, I'm really enjoying the content so far!
