Thank you for watching Hyunjins dance. It literally made me cry. Hyunjin is an enigma. He’s beautiful and cold looking one minute and the next he’s on the floor laughing. He is probably the most chaotic after Han, but he can also be really quiet and gentle. This year has been the happiest I’ve seen him. To get some deeper insight into him I highly recommend the Song Camp episode 3 with just him and Bang Chan where they came up with the song Red Lights, and the behind the scenes of his Artist of the Month from Studio Choom. Yesterday they were at ISAC, and even though he has his entire arm in a cast so he couldn’t compete he spent hours taking dance requests from the audience and entertaining them. He also writes and produces music. He’s posted two songs that’s he has composed himself, one about his late dog and one called Love Stay. Most Stays have a massive soft spot for Hyunjin, mainly because SKZ themselves all have a massive soft spot for him. He’s literally 3rachas baby.

Since you asked about Billie's brother, I was surprised you don't know Finneas well. You should react to him as well. Also a very interesting person, you can tell they are raised by the same people. But also quite different. As so often I'd recommend him on Zach Sang😊 I love his own music as well. For some reason I can relate to Finneas a lot.

SHINee's "Hitchhiking" is such a good track. The lyrics are very sci-fi and psychedelic which is fitting since the song is from their 3rd album "The Misconceptions of Us" (2013). This album is a bit experimental and was a double-album drop comprised of two parts: first "Dream Girl – The Misconceptions of You" and second "Why So Serious? – The Misconceptions of Me". These two 10 track parts were then repackaged/compiled into "The Misconceptions of Us," made of the full 20 song track listing. "Hitchhiking" (written by lyricist Kim Boo Min and composed by Hitchhiker, Will Simms, and Anne Judith Wik) is originally from the first album part, "Dream Girl – The Misconceptions of You". TMOY has a lot of overarching themes of folding internally into your dreams and the maze of your own psyche or your own past. "Hitchhiking" furthers that theme by exploring the idea of SHINee wanting to hitchhike in a time machine and go back to a better/nostalgic time in their lives. SHINee invites the audience of the song to come with them and return to a time before their dreams were driven away. The lyrics also mention a lot of references to twisting, dizziness, spinning, and swirling...racing into a wormhole that sweeps you away and into the excitement you used to have before things got distorted. Additionally, the lyrics give a vibe of alternating between contracting inward and expanding outward, both sinking and flying. For me, giving the impression of being in a blackhole/wormhole, blurring the lines between time and space. This juxtaposition/dichotomy in the themes is one of the main reasons I love this song so much. The song also speaks about SHINee and the audience being in different worlds and SHINee wanting to cross the vast, infinite divide between them and the audience. Once they make contact with the audience, all would then dive into a hidden dimension, navigating a maze that leads to a place where the end and the beginning meet--the symbol for infinity. This portion of the lyrics ultimately grounds the song in one of the album's overall themes of connection between SHINee and the SHINee World (Shawols). I love the performance but as a literary major and a sci-fi junkie, I love the lyricism of this song the most. The SHINee boys had quite a creative hand in putting together the "Misconceptions" albums and concepts, and it really shows. They had a hand in the songs that were chosen, several of them worked on the lyrics for other tracks, Taemin contributed to some of the choreo...even the cover art for the "The Misconceptions of Us" full album was drawn by Key. I highly recommend checking out more from this album and giving it a full listen as it is a real treat.

JAY is definitely carries himself with confidence and it’s really shows. JUNGWON grown to be a very good leader, a one that takes the initiative, and very aware of his surrounding. HEESUNG is very calm, but he really reminds me of jungkook of bts, as they both really shine the most, and look the naturalist when on stage. SUNGHOON is very introverted but yet very confident he is very very random and funny. SUNOO not that talkative but I think he is a key in thier dynamic, the members really fond of his his brightness. JAKE, all i can say he is very charismatic off and on live stage, not one but a lot of interviewer’s and show hosts praised him, and thanked him for making them comfortable. And you can see that the members find comfort in him, especially the younger ones (niki,jungwon) and heesung in interviews they always look at jake when they speak.

Enhypen newest album “ manifesto : day 1” Is a continuation of their story of growth. In this album they “draw the line”, started to draw their own world, and declare what they think and want. As at pervious album they talked about “walking the line”, “crossing the line” maybe referring to the walking line that society draws, and trying to push beyond the norms. Also they talk about them debuting and adjusting to their new world of them as idols. Enhypen storyline is about growth, being confused and being thrown to a world where not everything is good. Their message is very relatable, and it’s told by very interesting concept of teenagers turning into immortals. If you have time please listen to the intro -“ draw the line: day one” and outro “foreshadow” of th manifesto day one 🙏🏻🙏🏻 it’s really sums up everything on the album, and it’s very good.
