RUN BTS Ep. 132 (Uncut: 53 Minutes)

Comments

Other K pop groups don’t have the closeness like BTS and many groups have commended them for their unique closeness as something to look up to

Jimin absolutely speaks the most, not in English interviews, but in Run episodes or behind the scenes he’s the biggest jokester. He loves being silly with the guys and is the first to crack a joke outside of Jin. When you watch private convos of the group he shares a lot about how he feels and is an extrovert

It is true that you shouldn't consume anything before brushing your teeth lol

Also, about Jin, he does always have this layer to sarcasm in the way he speaks. I think I’ve never seen him super serious ( tired, yes) only in the episode he and V had an argument, and even that time, if I remember correctly he took it in a very light humor in the beginning. Just when he notices that V was actually pissed off and criticizing him for real, that’s when he changed his demeanor

Max, dropping the F bomb right in the beginning and later says 🙊 Ops, was hilarious. About Jimin being concise and succinct…. Please Jimin, come teach me. I really need to learn that. I always feel the need to set the ambiance before stating my point 😝

Please finish Going Seventeen One million won part 2 too im so excited for u to know them better 😍

This was lovely ! They really do love each other so much. I also hope you react to more Run episodes ! They really do get to show a more fun and silly side to them and for some reason it’s just so fun to watch them have fun together

I really hope he watches some classic episodes

This! I’m looking forward to Max’s reaction to Jimin and yoongi’s Tom and jerry moments. Bts betraying each other for a snack is one of my fav thing to watch

I really hope you watch more Run, I can even suggest other episodes. My favorite thing about it is that you get to see their personalities more than any interview. Jimin is quite funny and can be very sarcastic, he and Yoongi bicker often during Run episodes. You also get to see how competitive JK can be (and his adorable pout when he gets answers wrong). Plus nothing is funnier than watching a group of multi-millionaires backstab each other packets of instant ramen. 😂

To add to the importance of RUN BTS, also from a business and publicity point of view: I think it was in the episodes before the break that RM said this show is just as important as their albums. This also emphasizes the differnece between the idol system and artists and other musicians, which can raise valid criticism for various reasons but I also do think these differences are what makes me be more invested in them. Slightly off topic, there is this very interesting (Times?) article and interview with Bang PD about HYBE revolutionizing the music industry and he explains how they have different ways for artists basically to make money since especially with streaming you don't actually get a lot from your music. BTS and other idols are content creators in various fields compared to other musicians.

Interesting perspective on variety show content! All of these points make a lot of sense.

BTS really love Run BTS. Even now during their group "hiatus" they are still continuing with Run BTS because they enjoy it so much :)

I'm so happy you watched these 2 episodes and enjoyed them as much as you did! I was waiting for you to see them in this type of setting, and especially Yoongi just bullshititng his way through it lol. Can't wait to see more reactions to run bts!

Gotta love Jhope the scaredy cat, yoongi the bullshitter, namjoon the brain, taehyung living in his own world ,JK being a little shit, and jin and jimin the arguers. Obviously BTS is at an insanely high level of loving eachother, but that’s really the one thing to never discount from these groups. There’s a reason people are so invested past the music and performances. These groups live together, are constantly in high pressure training situations with eachother, bonding because they only really have eachother and they all are the only ones that understand what they go through. +being away from your family at such a young age in a culture that’s heavily oriented around family makes it almost impossible for them to not know eachother like family. From a management perspective, variety show content is so smart because they’re doing team building activities and providing entertainment at once. This way they get closer to eachother and to their audience. Also, it helps camera train them further because they have to forget about them to let loose. Further on that, it’s easy to mention how comfortable they are on camera and how special it is that we have so much content from their early days, but it makes sense because they’re filmed so often as a way to get them more comfortable. Especially in trainee years, it is a way for companies to see if they have the camera potential to be charismatic and not be too awkward. Both as a business tactic and from a psychological standpoint, it really is a great formula. There are obviously a lot of cons I’m not mentioning, but I always think it’s interesting to think about this kind of stuff which is why I thought I’d share it. Another great video.
