about the child statue in skz video, they(guys from skz) made 8 rings even when there were just 7 of them, the 8th ring is as a necklace on the statues neck :) there were more hints that the song is actually about hyunjin not being with them

I'd love to see you react to more girl groups! This interview of Itzy with Jessi is really fun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xoy4Wy2zeHk&ab_channel=%EB%AA%A8%EB%B9%84%EB%94%95Mobidic

Wow thanks Alina for taking time to research about this and about the credits too!

Hi Pauline :) Just trying to answer your question on the difference between composition and producing :D from my limited knowledge, composing refers to actually writing melodies and I think the output can be a music sheet, a guide performed with an instrument (I imagine someone composing BTS's "I need you" could create something like SUGA's piano version of that song), even a basic digital version, while producing is the more technical aspect of it, not necessarily writing the song, but choosing which instruments would be used where, the type of drums used, harmonies and backing vocals, they might even decide which member sings which part etc.). I see the composing being more on the creative side while the producing would cover the more technical side think As for credits, I don't know the context as well as you guys do, but I often go to the KOMCA (Korea Music Copyright Association) website to check stuff like that - I'm a nerd who is more interested in the more technical aspect of things (a lot of things) :D https://www.komca.or.kr/foreign2/eng/S01.jsp The credits Jimin has in KOMCA (if we search title "Lie" and performer "BANG THAN SO NYEON DAN"), are for Composition (classification C) and lyrics (classification A) (not sure why A is used for lyrics but that's what it means to my knowledge; another classification we might find for other songs is AR for arrangement, but that's a rare one). Also, KOMCA does not list writers in order to participation, but in alphabetical order (I think of their writer code, not writer name), so from KOMCA we don't know how much each writer contributed to the song, only that Jimin has both lyrics and composition credits, together with a few other people. Again, this is just the technical side, there might be other content that provides more insight into that but I don't know the context very well. Hope this helped, at least with the composition vs producing part :)

Same :)

Apparently, “One of the main differences between music producers and music composers is that composers are responsible for creating music. Producers are responsible for taking that music and incorporating it into visual media while also making sure it sounds as good as possible” I copied and pasted 🙈🙈. Well great talk …😂

Jane Thomas

What’s the difference between composing and producing? /gen All I’m saying is both on bts wiki and in the album book, Jimin’s name is only there as 4th writer :)

Pauline

Not production, jimin was part of composing along with others. For lyrics, Rm talked in his wings behind vlive how Jimin wrote it about his personal struggles and producers liking it. I honestly don’t know much about main writer. I read that docskim gave a definitive lyrics at the end. Here is the vlive link if you want to check out. You can skip to 14:15 for the specific part about lie https://youtu.be/GM6mzsppYP0

Jane Thomas

Not saying it wasn’t his idea. Just that there are five writers on the song, and he’s credited as the fourth, and in the production, the only person I see credited is docskim (on bts wiki).

Pauline

That compilation of them calling their parents always brings me so much joy haha. That SugArmyy YouTube account makes great compilation videos, I like how you’re throwing one in every now and then!

taetaebear01 (Lindsey E.)

That That is iconic ! You should check out the behind the scenes of psy and yoongi's collab process

Nira

He is credited for lyrics and composing along with some others. He is the first one to submit his draft and docskim gave the definitive version. Jimin first proposed the idea about his inner fight with his insecurities

Jane Thomas

Thanks for reacting to Finneas! He is so talented like Billie but underrated in terms of his own music. Love their relationship too, they have a lot of fun interviews together. Also, looking forward to your upcoming 5SOS reactions. Would recommend checking out The Five Seconds of Summer Show - A 10 Year Celebration on their YouTube channel, but it's a long one :-P

Bansai

Yeah would love for you to check out Lie by Jimin. It’s one of his solo songs and it’s one of my favorite songs. Though he didn’t really write and compose it ^^ he did contribute to the lyrics, but the main writer is the person who produced the track (docskim).

Pauline

that crowd was insane

Cayt

My fave rap duo 😂

Alice

You should watch bangchan's vlive chans room ep 172 it shows a new side to him and interacting with his sister its so funny and cute

Samantha Rivero

I was so shook when I saw all over twitter that Yoongi did a surprise performance with Psy and now I get to watch the official video of it as many times as I like, he was having the time of his life up there!

Alice

The behind the scenes for I’ll be your man is super cool too- 3racha rearranging the cover/making lyrics, vocalists practicing in the studio, group dance practice,& run through practice. Maybe some day in the future if you ever get time.

Cayt

I hope you can react to agust D and jimin’s performance of Tony Montana tomorrow. Jimin is rapping along with suga. https://youtu.be/pjFLoihFXZE or jimin’s lie performance. Jimin wrote and composed that song. The lyrics are personal to him.

Jane Thomas

I agree about taehyung’s inner child. That’s my favorite song from V because whenever I hear that song, taehyung with his boxy smile comes up to my mind. There is a childlike innocence to his big smile. About the suga psy performance. No one knew he would pop up. The funny thing is day before that performance twitter was trending saying Gell well soon yoongi because we heard he was not feeling well and going to get tested for Covid during hobi’s listening party. And the next day twitter was trending with That That and everyone was like WTH when They saw the performance
