BTS' Burn The Stage Episode 3 & 4 (Livestream)

As for the video I would recommend this one https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4ZqLkXS1wM. It’s not the very best but still provide some inside

Nathalie Nord

I agree. Although over the years his personality changed he’s still shy to certain extend and doesn’t like to take the spotlight when he’s off stage. To really appreciate his personality people should pay close attention to smallest actions which is hard to do when you have 6 other members around.

Thanks!

https://youtu.be/145nU0nCuRM This is one video I like. It shows at least musically and professionally sides of him you don't always realize. The other members and other musician often praise him for his musicality but it is not always easy to see what he actually contributes. Obviously, he is the main singer but he doesn't have that many writing credits for example. This video explained a lot more to me.

I agree. I think it happens quite easily that although Jungkook is kind of the most Superstar of all of them that he gets overlooked. He became my bias very quickly but it still took me some time to realize the interesting details of his personality. I have heard this "criticism" about reactors before that they don't talk about Jk enough, which makes sense because in a lot of situations he keeps in the background and doesn't talk much. He often keeps the spotlight off of him on purpose. I`ll have to think about videos :D

Hey max thanks for reacting to these episodes, I hate that I miss them bc it’s in the middle of my work day. One feedback or thought I had was that I feel like of all the guys you still don’t know Jungkook. You are always kind about commenting on his stage presence and talent, but I feel like maybe you still see him as a kid who likes to perform. I hope you don’t take my words wrong bc I only mean well. I’d love to see you learn or focus a little more on his personality or what his dynamic is in the group. I just love the passion with how you speak about all the other members personalities and Jungkook has developed into such an amazing guy. Wish I had specific videos I could recommend but I have a terrible memory haha

Also, if I had to pick a private concert with one of the members, I would pick Jin. I love his voice, and his style of songwriting expresses many deep emotions.

Thank you for this reaction! It was interesting to see you react to the V/ Jin fight again now that you know the guys better. I hope you will continue to react to this series when you have the time. I also hope you will get to more of the Be-hind interviews one day. :) Thank you for your reactions and have a safe trip!

Melissa Sims

I hope you did good on your exam 😊

This would have been my first livestream, but I had to take the MCAT today! Still very enjoyable on rewatch. Some things to add… November 2017 is when they went to the AMAs and performed DNA. Yoongi talked about (during the 2018 Festa dinner and I’m pretty sure on You Quiz too) how scary of a moment this was for him and how he cried in the shower afterwards. It was definitely where their success started to accelerate beyond what they thought was possible and also when I became a fan! (I saw they were going to perform so I researched them beforehand and was immediately hooked). I also want to mention that I don't think you’ve seen that much of Jungkook being hard on himself in the content you’ve watched so far (I could be wrong), so I’m interested to see how or if your thoughts change once you’ve seen more of that side of him. You see him 'beating himself up’ more in their Bring the Soul and Break the Silence docu-series/movies that follow them on their Love Yourself and Speak Yourself tours in 2018/2019. I hope you react to those eventually!

Walcott Koenig

I love their docu-series and would love if you could continue them in order. They’re a great insight into all aspects of the members and their relationship with each other

Ok here comes my post recording watch essay... another very enjoyable live It's really cool watching this 5 years after it was filmed and noticing how they have changed since then but also what has stayed the same and what's still evolving. It's very interesting hearing your observations as most of them are very spot on to me but it also makes me see things in a different or more level headed way. I think in the beginning when Namjoon was saying that he felt pathetic it was because as the leader he felt he should know what to do and be level headed in that situation but he was panicking. Jimin has grown a lot and is much more confident in his voice and performance and just as a person but he's definitely still very hard on himself and always wants to do better or look better which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I agree that it would make it difficult for him when it comes to his solo endeavours, the pressure could be too much. Although it's not nice to see them fight it really showed to me how strong their bond is and how much they respect each other and what they do. It's how they've managed to stay together for so long. I did feel bad for Tae especially in that moment though as you could see he didn't feel heard and understood and that's one of the worst feelings. Also seeing them react to/praise each other is also some of my favourite content to watch lol and BTS don't hold back when it comes to praising each other. Their bangtan bombs and episodes are a good way to see a lot of that.

I know they’ve mentioned before that hobi has fainted on set and that jimin has passed out at least once if not multiple times during dance practice when he was extreme dieting. Also they recently did a voice for chuseok and said that they didn’t really know what to do with their free time if the translations I got were accurate. Such hard workers man. I’m not sure how many times it comes up in this show, but there are a lot of clips of them taking oxygen in between performances when they change back stage or the other members are doing their solos. Everyone that works with them says they go further than they should, especially for 2-3 hour long concerts.

It would be really cool if you were to watch an entire bts concert one day

Claire

I love all of their docu-series that they have done as it gives such insight into the way each member was thinking and feeling around the times they were filmed. My favourite one is Break The Silence but I think they are all so amazing!! Some of my absolute favourite bts content! Please continue to watch Burn The Stage and then move on to Bring The Soul and Break The Silence too. There are also movies that go along with each one too that shows the same time but different footage and they are also amazing!

Claire

Jimin used to be so hard on himself. But even if he says he is not confident, he never show that on stage. He is so captivating on stage. Jimin over the years said how he got over that phase of self critical. I am so happy that he is more confident in his singing and performance. I wish he know how many people loves his voice. There is a famous Korean singer named Ailee said that she loves jimin’s voice ever since they were rookies and actually wanted to sing with him, but they became popular in USA before she can actually find a song. When Jimin first joined, he only had 6 months to train. He had the shortest training period. He talked more about this on You Quiz. I will say jungkook is also hard on himself. There are many times in the past when he broke down backstage after a performance.
