Also i know you have a lot of videos by other band/groups to make but I hope you can watch their documentary video on netflix called "Flip a Coin" and then you'll get to know them more but take your time! its a doc about their online concert during the pandemic!

Thank you so much for this! I recently become a patron after your preview on yt and twas worth it! Taka and the whole band (AND THEIR SONGS) helped me a lot so this reaction made me really happy im glad more people has been checking them up recently, they are definitely one of the MUST hear band โ™ฅโ™ฅโ™ฅ also Taka is a really humble person. I haven't met him yet but I can tell by the fan tweets i've been seeing after their north America tour it made me so jealous. He also watch some reaction videos and promoted (showed appreciation) to some reactors on their official yt channel, twitter and instagram! (he even recognized one of the reactor who came to their tour)

I think one of their more intense performances if you want to explore more of that are etcetera, pierce and lier I would love to see you react to any of those songs

Totally can see the relation to Linkin Park and those punky vibes. I'm with you. LOVE Taka's voice. I still have that Adele cover in my head.

Awesome reaction! I hadn't heard of One Ok Rock before Jessica recommended them on a livestream, but I'm really becoming a big fan. I LOVE Taka's voice especially. I feel like their music makes me feel a bit nostalgic because it's the kind of music I listened to growing up (Linkin Park, Paramore, Evanescence, Breaking Benjamin, Rise Against; the kind of punk-pop-rock vibes).

Yay! Thanks for this, Max! I think your analysis of Taka is pretty spot on. The language barrier definitely was holding Taka back a bit on how he was able to express himself, but he certainly isn't quite as "bigger than life" as he is on stage. I think one of their long-time photographers once said that Taka is pretty serious, focused on the music, honest, and a little shy.
