As announced a week ago, the Starter Kit price will increase to $2 on Monday, as per recommandation from Patreon. $1 prices apparently causes card rejection more often among other troubles

Bidoche, I suspect Patreon uses a mediocre CC verification software, which authorizes the charge amount before actually charging it, to make sure it works. A lot of these can throw up flags with the CC company. Ran into the same thing at my last job because they couldn't be arsed to pay for a more reputable verification service.

2019-06-15 19:35:14 +0000 UTCThe $1 thing is just an excuse made up by Patreon because they want more money; they charge all of a person's pledges together in a single charge, so the only way that could even matter is if the person had literally a single one dollar membership on their Patreon account and nothing else.
