June post-mortem, July Pinup update schedule

Hello friends!

As you know, the previous pinup was a struggle and really took a lot out of me; this said, it was reaaally fun to do. This said, I'd like to do a little and short post-mortem.

June pinup post-mortem

• It was a completely different process, which caused several tries and retries, as well as figuring a lot out; I also would like to extend a big thanks to Artz for helping me find that sexy pose you've seen, which allowed me to focus more on the painting itself!
• The first pro and con of this process is simple: pro, it looks gorgeous. Con, it takes a lot, lot, LOT of time to do. My usual pinups are completed in a week worth of time, barring the anniversary pinup that was planned to take a month; this process should have had at least 3 weeks of time to be done comfortably, and I ended up rushing it in two. 
• Consequently, this is something I'm taking in consideration going forward!
• On Hyper-realism: pro, it looks GORGEOUS. If I get where I wanna go, it'll look amazing. Con: it's far less expressive than the stylized semi-realism I used before. Conclusion, I believe I'll meet both in the middle; I need the faces to be very expressive, but I want it to have to shine of high-key hyper-realism. This will be the next pinup's struggle!
• All in all, it was really fun to do and I hope, very enjoyable for you to look at!

July Pinup

• After someone (Plum) raised an idea of a multi character pinup, I've been thinking about it. I need to assess how much work it'll be, because I have a pretty fun idea in mind. This pinup won't likely be subject to a vote however! I don't know yet if it'll take place this month, in which case the current vote will be displaced to August, or just do it for August. I will warn you of whichever it will be before taking a final decision!
• The idea is simple; every Summer pinups will be beach or pool themed, so the idea is, my main characters at the beach. It would be a pinup featuring girls from HMGBAPS, Wanderlust, Unsheltered, and possibly Hub Tales. I'm currently reflecting on the logistics of that picture. 
• More info soon.

Schedule of the Summer

• I'm pretty beat and in need of a break and some Rest&Recovery, so I plan to take a month long holiday; this holiday will start from mid July to mid August. 
• Updates of secondary comics will be halted entirely.
• Updates of HMGBAPS will be reduced to one per week or halted depending on the situation of the week. 
• The pinup for both months will be done, obviously.

That's all for now! I'm taking an imposed mini break this week (or not, depending on the circumstances) as I'm getting my second dose of the jab tomorrow. Here's hoping for tame side effects!
