TCM #FBF...Denied!!!! 😋
Added 2021-03-26 23:06:56 +0000 UTCI was so hyped for today bc I thought I was going to get to share a quality copy of JB’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 "deleted scene" with you. I found this tape with this AMAZING letter dated 9/5/86, and immediately prioritized it to be digitized!
Alas, the tapes were switched out so what was actually in the case turned out to be some old b&w western lookin’ movie. 😕
I haven’t given up finding the real footage. I think it’s gotta still be in these boxes somewhere (I hope!!), and I will post immediately when (if) I run across it.
For now, though, I‘m going to go post something a lil’ different for this week’s #FBF offering. I’m sure you’ll find it just as riveting... 😉🖤🖤

I've always loved this deleted scene so much. TCM2 is my fav horror film of all time. Ill never forget the standie in the local video varieties and wanting to watch it so bad. Thank you for sharing this really cool letter. 🤘🏻🔥

2021-03-29 20:17:04 +0000 UTCPerhaps check that tape all the way to the end Darcy ... you never know when someone has recorded over something and a bit of the original could exist at the end . Hopefully that did not EVER happen . I discovered footage at the end of a VHS tape that had a transfer about 1981 from a “2 inch Quad “ from 1971 . Somebody recorded over it in the late 1980’s I guess... but I saved that original 5 minutes of footage at the end when they pushed STOP on the record button. Yes it was “Scarticia” hosting the final episode of “Horrible Movie” from about 1972 or so. Heartbreaking! If you ever find a “2-inch quad player” ... let me know . ( I have a couple more tapes but don’t know what is on them . ) I would LOVE to know what various formats YOU are finding to transfer from and how ... can’t wait to hear all about it at some point .They look GREAT ! I must be dreaming you are doing this . Put me down for an unedited extended box set of everything once you are done !!! WHERE were these tapes all this time ??? Thank God for you Diana ! ❤️🎥✌️
