Tonight we have a heckuva double feature fer ya! The highlight of this one for me is the letter from Pioneertown. Trust me when I tell you JB is OBSESSED with that place and with Howling 7. Thatβs why I took him on a lilβ birthday excursion βround this time last year.

Kinda funny watching the director cut of Highlander with the scenes in the movie that he's talking about being removed. Anyways what a strange double feature with a complete clash of styles. But my final thought is......Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy!

We just showed Peggy Sue, we follow that up with another flick that women just love and men will tolerate in order to get to Highlander later. 2022-01-25 22:18:21 +0000 UTCSeems like Pioneertown is not unlike Calico. (Knott's Berry Farm's town is called "Calico" but the amusement park spurred Knott into restoring the actual ghost stown.) Calico's only about 2 hours drive from Pioneertown. I'm now wondering how many ghost towns you could visit just driving around in San Bernardino...
