Edge of Honor & Death Spa (Air Date 1/16/93)

(Intro, Bridge at 4:18, Outro at 8:09)

We mentioned Death Spa a little bit this week, so this felt like a good choice for our midweek viewing (especially with that Feldman bump!👌)

Enjoy…See you on Friday for CLINT HOWARD NIGHT!! 🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️

I feel attacked with all the fighting words towards Seattle, haha

Would love for Shudder to license Death Spa for The Last Drive In

So Edge of Honor is the answer to the question: What if Stand By Me, Red Dawn and Southern Comfort had a dumpster baby? And love that letter crapping on Joe Bob's wardrobe from earlier episode and K-Mart--man, I loved making fun of that store and myself while shopping there.

I just finished Death Spa, super creative and different. I really enjoyed this one!

Death Spa is so freaking good! What an ending that movie has, total gorefest bonkers. Reminds me of Hello Mary Lou.

I did some background on this movie before I watched it. Apparently shortly before filming this movie Feldman got his first bust for Heroin and there had to be a drug counselor on the set at all times per terms of the court allowing him to film and shortly after the films release he got busted again for possession of Heroin. Really a sad time. The other thing that struck me and maybe it's because I was young at the time, while I was aware of Patrick Swayze and his body of work, I had no idea that he had a brother and I have seen a ton of movies and TV shows with him in it. I even commented to my ladyfriend last night about that cause I was so shocked about that. Patrick casts a huge shadow even in death!

I love all the bands you mentioned but without Green River we would have never had a lot of those aforementioned bands. Another of my personal favorites from there is Mother Love Bone. I personally believe, had it not been for Andy Woods untimely death, the music scene in Seattle would've been drastically different from what we ended up with.

Nirvana is overrated AF. I was all about PJ and STP (not Seattle, though) in junior high and dug Soundgarden and AIC. PUSA is from there as well. Grohl is cool and a great drummer, though. Not the best of the 90s. That honor goes to Chamberlin from Smashing Pumpkins.

Corey before he went full Tommy Wiseau bred with Skrillex on us and the wife of Patton "son of TV's Frank" Oswalt.

Just finished Edge of Honor. I really enjoyed that one. Crafty kids vs redneck arms dealers. Movie had some really good action sequences. Absolutely fun watch! On to Death Spa... Oh being from Washington I love when Joe Bob rips on Seattle but Mudhoney is one of the greatest bands to ever come outta that cesspool!!!!

Lol that’s funny when Joe Bob Briggs the model drive-in made by the kids 😄

Death Spa is free on VUDU

Sweet 2 more films I've yet to see!

The schtick with the model made by third graders was comedic gold.

Looking forward to Friday! It's going to be rough after Week 10.
