Thanks for the info! Had a hard time trakting down 'The Matchmaker' but it's there, under the German name. Been trying to add all these movies to a Trakt list, make it easier for people to find where to stream them, but fell behind the last couple weeks on account of death. Yeah, I ended up using a database to track every single West German movie that came out in 1982 to see what matched the plot details JBB gave, glad it paid off! Also yeah I'm a little confused on that too, it's possible though considering the main takeaway from his commentary on it is that he didn't understand a single thing that was going on haha

Awesome thanks! Every app I tried + Google gave me nothing. How interesting I'd gotta believe it at very least was subtitled though. I guess TMC could've aired it without subs. That would be weird

Update: Found it! Its actually a film called "Sei zärtlich, Pinguin", or "Be Gentle, Penguin". It all adds up - man in a penguin suit, random music video etc but it seems to not have an English release quite literally anywhere so I wonder if TMC actually showed this in German with no subbing or dubbing.

I've actually been trying to find this movie for a while since I saw this episode (in significantly worse quality) on YouTube a couple years back. I'm convinced that it must have another more well used name because a Google search doesn't bring up so much as an IMDb or Letterboxd.

Love the Cabin but cant wait to see the Trailer, Lawn Chair, and Marquee Sign again 😊
