Howdy, homies! This Isn’t unique to Patreon, but I thought I’d upload it here as a convenient way for you to check it out, if you’d like…I’ll be back later with a new/old Drive-In Theater ep for your viewing pleasure! 🤠❤️

Barry loves to talk. Wow! He's a real character but also a real sport about his movie. And he's still a fan first after all this time. Still works a steady job and gets movies made when he can. Doing it the SOV and Drive-in way. Thanks for this one! I still don't know why the heck Don claims to have tortured and eaten his niece (which I have to assume is related by marriage), but I definitely wanted everyone to die by the end because of their lack of humanity.

It’s kind of like…it HAS to HAPPEN now.

Haha I NEEEEED to see Jericho in a Barry J. Gillis production now!!! :) Thank you for listening! xoxo

Awwww. Love you, Bill! Thanks for listening and I'm so happy you're a fan of Things! Chris was VERY harsh, but I do love that he speaks his mind the way he does. I think it was more interesting to have someone THAT passionate about it (even if he's not a fan ;) than someone who was just lukewarm about it...Barry himself would've been a fun guest, too. Maybe we can do a watchalong of his new Bret Hart/Corey Feldman flick! :)

That sounds pretty appropriate for Things. honestly. ;) xo

Awww. So much love back to all of you, David. Thanks for listening! :) xoxo

Haha I LOVE his attitude so much. I sincerely want to host drunken theatrical screenings of it now!!! :)

Don’t thank me yet! No one has confirmed it yet lol But if you can reply with you rss link for it that should do it 😎👍🏻

Haha BOTH!!!! :) xoxo

I love him!!! He and I kept talking for an hour afterwards!

Rad! Thanks, Jake! :) xo

Darcy!!! Amazing! Barry j. Gillis…I could listen to him talk about anything, I think. And a movie directed by him with Cory and Bret…!!! Can we crowbar in some cameos with you and Jericho?!?

What an amazing interview. I love how upbeat and positive Barry is. He knows he made a terrible movie but is proud of his work..as he should be. I have become a fan of Things. I watched it last week again after seeing it on the VHS episode of The Last Drive-In. Chris Jericho was way too harsh on Things. It's a fun movie throughout. Thanks to Darcy and Joe Bob for another fantastic season of The Last Drive-In. Mutant Fam forever!

Bugger, I'm starting to wonder if I remembered to write the meaning of Things at the end of my entry. I remember writing all the right words but not necessarily in the right order.

This was GREAT! Diana - you are simply the best. Monster Movie Happy Hour sends its love.

Wow, I'm glad that Barry Gillis sounds so happy and proud of his work and its cult status. Makes me kinda glad I watched Things with the Mutant Fam. Kinda ;)

Wait so Chris Jericho or Barry J. Gillis could read the essay I wrote?? Jeez! As if I wasn't nervous enough already 😱 No pressure....😨

What a character that barry gillis is, great interview! Barry has that old toronto accent the young folks dont have anymore😄

I loved this conversation. There is something really melancholic but almost hopeful about John Brennan's cover of "Tailspin." And damn. You are really reading through all of those essays and notes. I almost feel bad for sending mine. But not really. No, this was definitely a group phenomenon, or one shared hallucination. :)

i've been borderline obsessed with Things since the LD-I screening, like a tedious nightmare put to film, fascinating
