Ho-wdy, Ho-mies!! Happy Splatterday! Once again you'll have to forgive me bc I haven't had a chance to do the time codes on these. I'll try to get those posted for you in the next day or so, but in the meantime at least we can chuckle together at the fact that JB once did the Drive-In Totals for Dirty Dancing!! ;)

In this ep you'll see the first appearance (in these archives) of "Summer" the Non-Mail Girl. She made a few appearances on the show, but JB can't remember what her backstory was supposed to be. I *think* she was supposed to be his neighbor in Hollywood, but I'll do some digging to see if I can verify that for ya.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend...I'll see ya Monday with something a lil' special. ;) xoxo

That millennium fashion was something else. Can’t believe we all walked around looking like that!

Did we ever get time codes for Dirty Dancing, or did I miss them?

Yeah, that's right.

Her character's full name was Summer Day and she was the dog walker for Ms Verona. I know Renner St. John was Rusty the Mail Girl, but they never did say who played Summer in the credits. Same case with Reno and Ms Verona (which was weird considering they started using end credits). The late Jack Riley played another character called Leon Sickman(?), who was supposed to be JBB's agent in Hollywood. He wasn't credited either. Anyway, badass upload.

This aired just hours before I turned 21.

Watched these as a double feature tonight. Both films have one thing in common, great soundtracks. RIP Swayze.

Will we be getting the time stamps for this video?

Man, these neutered TNT ones are so strange to watch! That exec who didn't dig JB's style really forced them to go a strange direction.

The first appearance of Summer was during the 2nd iteration of the Summer School series where JB showed Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, and The Surgeon. He creates her a la Frankenstein, and she's credited as "The Bride of Joe Bob." It was a few weeks before they moved to L.A. and she became Summer.

This is great! A testament to his talent!

I always felt bad for Joe Bob during the Hollywood Saturday Nights era. He deserved much better than this. The only things that save this are Joe Bob's humor and how good both of these movies are...oh and his shirt is fantastic!

I also liked Carrie 2: the Rage. Didnt even know it existed until I found it on tubi last year

Perfect month for Swayze. MST3K fans know what I'm talking about.
