2023-02-07 01:31:57 +0000 UTC95% or more Representatives aren’t living off their pay they live off their knowing what the market will do when laws pass and how to properly invest and get kickbacks from friends and family for “hints on what the market will do . This is how they go in worth 500k or less and 2 years later are millionaires . They would gladly pay 200k salary just to have position . FYI if you do what they do that’s insider trading and you get Martha Stewarted . Congress exempted itself from those laws too .
