Yes, and there was aftermath we could see the hurt the confiusion the pain the did I want this? (spoilers for ep 2 beginning) even in episode 2, he is still battling it. I mean there was a reason he chose the rooftop and did what he did. And it wasn't only the rejection.

Because, who knew, you can film a scene like that in a beautiful and artful way WITHOUT MAKING IT LOOK LIKE IT'S OKAY!
