Same it took me a few rewatch until I really got excited about them but then I started to get it and I never looked back! I kind of knew how the first episode would be because the book was like that. There was not a lot of flirting it was pretty much you have a ich want me to scrats it type of hookup. I'm hopeful but as you said there is still time, but New and studio wabi sabi has really shown what they are good at with my 12% so I have a lot of hope.

When I watch UWMA, WinTeam was not my babies, I di not understand why peoples were getting crazy about them since we barely saw them in the series. But the kick came later (let's just say at my 12th rewatch...) when their story was refreshing while knowing way too late they both got struggles that was not shown in the series. So, when Between Us was annonced, I was more than happy. And now here we are. I did got teary eyes seeing back everyone and at some scenes. Still, I personnaly find the first episode a bit too rushed. I was expecting more flirting before the first extra hot sex scene ! It feels weird knowing their progression in UWMA knowing they had such sex in the beginning. Team was so difficult to ce approached by Win, I basically felt sorry for Win. For the rest, we will see how is going to be written, I still apprehend I could be disapointed.
