The series was not really a typical bl. I would describe it as more queer media/ slice of life. It felt very real to me, I know real life people who are like each of these characters.
Sometimes the scenes were painful to watch because I have been. Wen to a decent Alan but it just wasn’t there anymore. The death of a relationship is as painful as the thrill of the start of it. It’s bittersweet and it’s real life.
I do think the two young boys would be considered BL material. I love that they are going to go America 🇺🇸 together, to work and study abroad together. It’s not very realistic but who cares? Right?! They are cute and it is, what it is!
Alan and G leave us with the possibility of a new relationship! I felt that was a good ending!
Jim and Wen ended up together and Wen found “home”!
I really believe that what the story was trying to tell us was that you find family in unexpected places and home is where your heart is!
