Eli - I have to say your diatribe about your son being sick really struck a nerve with me. My youngest is type 1 diabetic. He was diagnosed when he was 8 years old (he's 15 now), and recently due to faulty equipment, he went into Diabetic Ketoacidosis. Not too long ago in our medical history, being type 1 would have been a death sentence. And while it was scary being in the hospital with him, I knew they could make him better. So I completely sympathized with you, and I hope your kiddo is doing well. <3
