“People go to church on Wednesday?” Yeah man, there’s only so much time on Sunday. We had Sunday school, church service, then Sunday night events which ranged over the course of my life from “Church Training” (Sunday school again, but at night) to choir or Bible Drill or missions activities. And then on Wednesday evening we had dinner at church and either missions activities or youth group. I could easily spend 10 hours a week at church. In high school it was often more. And then when I was an adult it was so much more. There’s a poem about this: “Mary had a little lamb It wants to become a sheep It joined the nearest Baptist church And died from lack of sleep”
