Moira and Terry disrobed and went for their massages. After their massages, they went to have their epi-bath. Terry was given the relaxation tea. After a quick shower, Terry was guided to the laser body sculpting room. Terry was tired and felt that this was like another massage. Hair follicles were addressed under his arms and on his face and neck. Some minimal work was done to “clean up” his eyebrows. After the body sessions, Terry redressed his bra and spandex panties from the salon and he was moved to the salon where his manicure was updated and Summer dealt with his hair.
Summer shook her head as she removed the hair tie he had in his hair. She washed his hair, trimmed a few split ends, and then blew dry and styled his hair with full curls and some hair spray. His hair was full of body and looked great. Of course, it did not look like something a guy would be sporting. Terry opted for clear nail varnish and Summer used a pencil to fill in his eyebrows a little. After Terry was redressed in his suit, he and Moira looked like any two professional women in town after work on a Friday afternoon.
Moira was driving and Terry was upset about how feminine his hair looked. Moira turned into a parking lot and turned the engine off. Moira turned to Terry and said, “Terry, it's Friday. I want to get a drink for happy hour. I haven’t been out in weeks.” Terry was flabbergasted. “I can’t go anywhere like this. Look at my hair.” “Terry your hair looks like you just left a fashion shoot. No one is going to say anything.” Terry stared him down. Terry had not replaced his tie when leaving the salon. Natalie had actually reached in and undone his top button telling him he looked too staid. Moira grabbed her purse and exited the car. She walked around to the front of the car. Terry didn’t want to go.
But he reluctantly grabbed his bag and exited the car. Hearing the locks click shut, he knew he was not getting back into the car without Moira’s agreement. Terry and Moira were wearing business pant suits with their blouses unbuttoned at the top. Their hair and nails were salons fresh and they looked good. They entered the restaurant which appeared to be a seafood and steak house. Moira headed for the lounge and grabbed a booth. Terry slid into the other side of the booth. They both placed their bags on the bench.
A waitress took their orders. Moira ordered a cosmopolitan and Terry ordered a gin and tonic. When their drinks arrived, Terry reached for his bag. The waitress waved him off and said the drinks were paid for. She pointed towards the bar. Moira held her drink up and toasted the two men at the bar. She told Terry to do the same. Terry held his drink up and looked towards the bar before the situation dawned on him. Terry suddenly turned to Moira, “Why are those guys buying us drinks?” Moira smiled, “I think they like me.
Why would they have any interest in you? How’s your drink?” She sipped her drink. Terry was staring at her trying to figure out what the game was. He took a large gulp of his drink. It felt great going down. His mind went blank for a moment. Moira held up her glass towards Terry, “Let’s toast a successful week. You followed the dress code and no one has identified anything we are doing wrong. In addition, I’m almost done with the Jefferson proposal.” Terry clinked his glass and they each took a good solid drink. Moira glanced back at the guys sitting at the bar. They were periodically looking over. Terry was ignoring the men at the bar and savoring his drink.
Moira had a lot of experience with guys buying her and her friends drinks at a bar. The question was how aggressive or subtle these guys were going to be. Moira started telling Terry what she had done with the proposal and they continued to sip their drinks. They both finished off their drinks at about the same time. Terry was asking questions about the proposal and he was oblivious to the room around them. Moira saw it coming.
Terry was asking a question when he was interrupted, “Excuse me. My friend and I noticed your drinks were empty and we felt bad. So, we grabbed you another round.” Terry was looking up at two large men in business suits. One of them extended a gin and tonic to Terry while the other handed Moira a cosmopolitan. Moira thanked the gentleman, “Oh that is so nice of you. Terry and I just wanted to celebrate a successful week at work with a few happy hour drinks.” Terry had turned to stare at Moira and he wondered why she was talking to this guy. She was acting like some bimbo hoping to be picked up in a bar. Terry started to ask Moira what was going on, “Moira ” but he was interrupted by the other guy. The guy said, “Moira. That is a beautiful name for a beautiful woman.
May I sit for a moment?” The guy never even waited for her to respond. He just sat down and inched in towards Moira. “My name is Glenn.” It was at that moment that Terry felt the seat sag as the second guy who was huge sat down next to him. “Terri is it. My name is David. I am so sick and tired of talking to Glenn. Can we join you for a few minutes just to have some more stimulating conversation?” But they had already joined them. Terry was scared to death.
He looked to Moira. Moira was staring at Glenn’s eyes. Glenn asked, “So do you work in the area?” Moira giggled. Why did she giggle? “Yes, we work not too far from here. Are you from around here?” David responded, “No we are from out of town. We got stuck with a planning meeting on Saturday so we have to stay in town tonight.” Terry had turned his head when David started talking. A natural response. But David was excited to look into Terry’s eyes. The conversation quickly turned casual and David and Glenn wanted to talk about themselves which was fine with Terry. They were from out of town.
They were here on business. They did not know anyone in the area. The waitress came by and a third round was ordered. Terry continued to sip his drink and he was feeling very relaxed. The men suggested they order dinner and pointed out that they were going to expense it. They offered to pay for Terry and Moira. Before Terry fully grasped the question, Moira had agreed and they were each given menus. Shortly, Terry identified a need to visit the restroom.
He did not know what to do. Finally, he asked David to excuse him. Moira asked, “Where are you going?” Terry said, “I need the restroom.” Moira decided to join Terry. Then, David decided it was a good idea too. As the three of them approached the restrooms, David veered towards the men’s room. Terry began to follow him when Moira grabbed his arm and yanked him into the women’s room. “Moira, what are you doing? I can’t go in here?” Terry hissed. Moira held his arm. “Terry, if you followed that guy into the men’s room, you would be on your knees in a stall with David. Take my word for it. You wouldn’t get to protest.
He would just assume. I have been known to let guys buy me drinks and meals. I doubt you have. Now use that stall. Close the door, and sit down. No one will know and we can get out of here and back to dinner.” Terry tried to fight her. But he really did need to use the bathroom. He entered the stall, pulled down his pants and panties, and sat down. After he was redressed, he joined Moira in the mirror. She was touching up her lipstick and without thinking, Terry found himself doing the same thing.
He looked at his wavy curls framing his lightly made-up face and it dawned on him. He reluctantly asked, “Moira, do these guys think I am a girl?” Moira looked at him. “You know Terry, I didn’t know before. I thought maybe David liked guys. But maybe you are right. In that case, following him into the bathroom would have been even worse.”
Terry was desperate, “What are we going to do?” Moira looked at him like a simpleton. “We are going to go back to our table and enjoy a nice free dinner. We can have some nice conversations and we have made no commitments. If you want to give David a kiss or a blowjob in thanks that is up to you. But I will feel no obligation. Personally, I might give Glenn a kiss. But it won’t go any further than that. You and I have never really talked about your personal preferences. You are an adult. Do what you want.” “Do we have to go back?” Terry asked. “I am going back. I haven’t had a really nice meal in a while and this one is free.
You can sit outside if you want or get a cab. But David will probably offer to give you a ride home. He seems like that kind of guy. I suggest you eat a nice dinner.” With a fear level of 9 out of 10, Terry followed Moira back to the table. The gentlemen both stepped out and let them slip back into the booth where they were trapped by the big men on the ends. Dinner turned out to be nice. Terry was trying to stay on edge. But he was having trouble maintaining his edge after the fifth round of drinks. He was trying to figure out if David wanted a guy or a girl.
David interpreted his trepidation as shyness. David thought that was cute. He fawned over Terry and kept up a banter throughout the meal. After Dessert, Moira said, “Terry I want to hit the powder room before we leave. Why don’t you join me?” Terry almost said no and then realized Moira wanted to talk to him. The men let them out and they headed back to the dreaded women’s room. Moira entered a stall and Terry did the same.
When they were done washing their hands and both had their lipsticks out, Moira turned to Terry and said, “This sounds crazy, but I wanted to alert you that while we will be leaving here after dinner to go home, I really like Glenn. I enjoyed dinner and his company. Therefore, I will probably give him a nice goodbye kiss. That doesn’t mean you have to kiss David. But I wanted to let you know so you would be prepared. You could always let him kiss your cheek.”
Moira left no chance to discuss the matter as she turned and left the restroom. Terry had just finished freshening his lipstick and was putting it back in his bag. He just stared at himself in the mirror. Then he turned and followed Moira back to the table. The men stood up as they approached. Moira stopped next to Glenn. She reached out and grabbed his hand. Moira looked Glenn in the eye, “Glenn and David this has been a wonderful evening.
Dinner and your company have been a real treat. But we both have plans for tomorrow and we need to get going.” With that Moira pulled Glenn towards her. She stood on tiptoes and Glenn leaned down. Their lips touched. Glenn pulled her into him. Terry started to feel like a voyeur and started to look back at the table. Terry had spent the last minute or so since Moira’s announcement trying to figure out what to say to David. He was mapping out conversations and how the interaction might go. It was all for naught. His concentration was hindered by the multiple drinks he had consumed.
As Terry looked away, he was inadvertently turning towards David. David was never one to miss an opportunity and it never occurred to him that his shy companion would have any reservations. He and Glenn noticed that both of their companions had freshened their lipstick. So David moved towards Terry and leaned down. And as Terry felt movement and looked up to his left with his head tilted ever so slightly, David’s mouth met his. David’s arms encircled Terry and pulled him in. It was a big kiss. It started soft and Terry was aware of the arms encircling him.
The arms supported him and felt secure. Terry started to complain and as he opened his mouth, David’s tongue met his in a serious dance. And Terry felt lost and secure for a moment. Terry felt himself grasping David’s back and pulling himself in. And then, David carefully let him go and stepped back because he did not want to take advantage of his dinner date. Moira gave them her cell number. She and Terry bid farewell to the gentlemen.
Moira noticed that Terry was flustered. The guys were laughing to themselves as the ladies left. David figured he had made a real impression on Terry. Moira drove back to Terry’s place. Terry sat in the car in a stupor. He said nothing and barely breathed. When Moira parked the car, Terry turned to her and started crying. Moira tried to comfort Terry and finally, she got out of the car and went around to the passenger side. Moira helped Terry to the door and inside his place. They sat on the couch and Moira just held Terry and let him exhaust himself.
At length, Terry sat back and wiped his eyes with a Kleenex. He sucked in a breath and looked up under hooded swollen eyes at Moira. He spoke slowly barely above a whisper, “That man, that man kissed me. I didn’t want to kiss him.” Moira tried to comfort him. “Terry, no one ever died from a kiss. I know you didn’t want to kiss him. He didn’t know you weren’t a girl. Was it really that bad?” Terry frowned. “It’s not that it was bad.
How could he not know I was a man?” Moira smiled, “Terry they made an assumption. They were looking for some girls to have dinner with. Their initial impression was that you were a girl. Once they got to that assumption, they just looked for things to support their belief. It’s the same reason people at work ignore signs that might indicate you are wearing a bra or a blouse. These guys had no preconceived notions.” Terry reluctantly asked, “Do I look like a girl? It’s my hair isn’t it?” Moira said, “Your hair is stylish and many men assume that only women have nice hair. It is the wrong thing to assume. Many people are indeterminate when you look at them. People see what they want to see. We’ve talked about this before. So, you’re upset he thought you were a girl?” Terry shook his head, “Not just that.”
Moira asked, “You’re upset he thought you were a girl and that he kissed you?” Terry was leaning forward and talking to the floor quietly. “It’s not just that either.” Moira was clueless so she asked directly, “So, Terry, What else is it that has you so upset?” Terry whispered, “I, I didn’t want to kiss him. But, his lips were there and they were unexpectedly soft. And then I tried to complain and suddenly we were French kissing and something happened.
All of a sudden something clicked and it felt nice and I sort of liked it. I was pulling him into me. And, then it was over. And, and” Moira was staring at him, “And, what?” Terry whispered, “I was disappointed it was over.” And Terry suddenly broke down in another fit of crying. Moira helped Terry into the bedroom and helped remove his shoes and his coat. Terry pulled off his blouse and while Moira placed his blouse on the dresser, he removed his pants and slipped under the covers. Terry was in bed wearing a matching bra and panty set. Moira tucked him in and promised to call in the morning.
Weekend Terry slept late on Saturday. He didn’t get out of bed until after 10 am. Terry showered and got dressed. He didn’t want to wear a bra but he felt like his breasts were almost bigger than they had been before. And he had to admit, he felt more comfortable with a bra on than without. Terry donned his new jeans and pulled on a T-shirt. He brushed and blew dry his hair. He was developing a routine and it only took a few minutes to get his hair how he liked it. Since he wasn’t going out, he did not bother to put it in a ponytail. Terry grabbed some food and sat in front of the TV. His phone jingled and Terry found himself applying a fresh coat of lipstick.
Terry was still in a funk trying to figure out what happened last night. He had a mild hangover and still felt exhausted. The shower had helped. Terry basically sat in front of the TV all day Saturday. Moira called in the afternoon and Terry assured her he was over the night before. On Sunday, Terry showered and got dressed. He again wore his new jeans and wore a loose t-shirt. He threw on a jacket and baseball cap before heading out to the grocery store to restock his home shelves. Terry’s phone tittered while he was in the store.
He quickly checked his face and hair and decided he had enough lipstick on.
