It wasn't my Fault - The chess club - Part 10

NOTE - It is with regret that I apologize to Brett Schuhkraft for not uploading the 10th part of the story for more than a month because of a misunderstanding on my part.

I woke up as normal, or the new normal of me waking up early. I lay there for a minute. It was still over an hour till my alarm was due to go off.

I thought, shit, I'm fully awake. I may as well get up. I washed my face and set out my uniform for today, then I headed downstairs to the kitchen.

I put the coffee on for Mum and then got my toast and jam and a glass of milk. Mum always gives me milk.

I finished my breakfast and milk and then checked my homework sheet.

As I was going through my worksheet, I noticed that there was something different some of the pictures had been moved, or I should say they'd been removed and replaced with different ones.

I tried to remember what were the pictures of?

I sat and thought for a bit. Then I remembered what they were.

They were of Mum with her friends from college and when she was working at the department store as a manager where she met Dad.

I wonder where Mum put them it could either be in her room or her office, which used to be Dad’s office.

I went back to my room and got ready for school.

I brushed my teeth. I then put on my underwear which included a bra, as I knew Mum would check. Then I put my blouse on, then my pleated skirt, then I put on my new ankle socks, then my shoes, I did my makeup and put my beret on.

I was still thinking about why would Mum have changed the pictures in the lounge room

Mum's door was open, which wasn’t unusual, so I checked to see if Mum was awake yet.

I just stuck my head into Mum's room, and the first thing I saw on a dresser just inside Mum’s bedroom door was a stack of pictures. The ones that had been in the lounge room, the top one was of Mum with a group of ladies. It looked like they were in college, and the lady beside Mum looked like Jennifer’s mother, but I wasn't sure I’d have to ask Jennifer to make sure it looked like everyone in the picture was the best of friends by the way they were hanging off each other.

I quietly went downstairs and got a glass of milk, and sat down to think.

Mum went to Cambridge College. I wonder if Jennifer knows where her mum went to college.

I was so engrossed in thoughts about Mum and Jennifer’s Mum that I didn’t hear Mum come down the stairs. She was calling me for a while.

When Mum finally got my attention, she asked if I was alright?

I thought fast and told Mum all of a sudden I was concerned about Jack and felt scared.

Mum told me not to worry about that jerk.

I couldn’t tell her what I was really thinking about. Could I

Mum said she’d have breakfast then she would get ready then take me to school.

I washed my breakfast plates then, checked my makeup then, and got my bag so I'd be prepared to go.

Mum came down, and she had a box in her hand and said I got this for you, Alex

It was a new tablet. I was speechless. Mum said it’s last year's model, but it’s compatible with your school, and it’s all charged up and here’s all the cables and everything you’ll need, Alex

I quickly transferred everything from my old Tablet to the cloud then I downloaded it to my new one.

Mum dropped me off at school.

I thanked her for my tablet and for driving me to school.

I headed to meet up with Ben. He had the board already set up. I picked black this time, so Ben opened I asked him if he knew where Jennifer's Mum went to college?

Ben said no, he didn't why?

I told him about seeing her Mum going into Jay's house, and how my Mum had removed some pictures of her from the lounge room.

Taken of her and her friends when she was at Cambridge College and when I found them, they were stacked on a dresser in my Mums room and I'm pretty sure one of the ladies was Jennifer's Mum.

My mom and her mum looked like they were great friends but I'd never seen her at our place.

Ben said that is strange and my Mum went to Cambridge as well.

I asked if Ben had seen any photos of his Mum while she was there.

Ben said no why?

I said, just wondering as she may have known my mother while she was there.

Ben said, maybe, but it’s a big College.

I find it odd that they were removed in the first place as my Mum is very fond of her college experience and has always wanted that experience for me, and she was overjoyed when I told her I wanted to go to college to be an engineer.

Ben said it sounds like she’s proud of you and wants the best for you.

I know, so why has she put me in a dress?

It doesn’t make sense to me.

Ben said to me, either.

Here comes Jennifer.

Jennifer smiled at me and said how do you feel after the weekend?

Are you feeling better about going out and about as a girl?

Yes, I enjoyed myself even after that asshole recognized me, and the cops took him away.

Ben asked what had happened?

I didn't want to talk about it.

So Jennifer told Ben about it.

Ben said good. I hate pricks like that.

Jennifer asked how does Jay get to school? Ben said his Mum drops him off. Why?

Jennifer told Ben of how we followed her Mum to Jay's House on Sunday when we were having a walk around the park, and we wanted to know why she was there.

Ben said it is strange.

It may be nothing, but Jennifer said I don't think so.

Ben agreed and then saw Julie coming over. He said to Julie how was your weekend.

It was good I helped my mom study for her ICU certification in nursing, as her exam is this week.

I said that's full on. Where did she go to college?

Julie said she went to London College.

Jennifer said so are you going to be a nurse too.

Julie said I don't think so as I'm not big on blood. I'm more into art, but it doesn't pay the bills, so I'm considering being an architect.

I said art and architecture do go hand in hand.

Ben asked Julie if she knew anything about Jay's mother.

Julie said only that she's a real estate agent, mainly industrial and has a degree in business and architecture from Cambridge.

Jennifer said ok, how do you know that?

Julie said it's all on her face bank profile.

Jennifer said really and pulled out her phone and was just about to open it when I stopped her and said remember the spy-wear?

Jennifer said shit, I'm really thinking about a new phone, so my mum doesn't know what I'm doing.

Julie said we’ll use my phone, and I’ll show you. Julie pulled up Facebank up on her phone and showed Jennifer Jay's mum’s page.

I had a thought and asked Ben when Jeremey get here.

Ben said he was here now and whistled, and Jeremey looked our way. He said something to his brother and sister and came over.

He said. To Jennifer, the mail had gone out, to the rest of us. He said what can I do for you guys?

I pulled out my new tablet and asked him if he could hook it up to the school system and if could he also check if it had any spy wear on it.

Jeremey took the tablet and started tapping away, after 5 taps he said it does have spy wear on it, and it's linked to another tablet.

He kept tapping. Then he said there you go, it's hooked up to the school network.

He then took out his phone and took a picture of my screen then, closed all the apps, and handed me back my tablet.

Always close your apps as that spy wear may let whoever listens in to your conversations.

He then did something on his phone, and then he told me the second tablet was at this address, and he showed me his screen. I said that's my home.

Jeremey said well, that means you're Mum gets a daily report on what sites you visit, and if she wants to know more, she can get a keystroke report which means if she likes, she can find out what you did on each site’s or in each program key stroke by key stroke.

I could remove it easily, but she would know by lunchtime

Alex said I was only going to use it for school anyway.

Jennifer and Julie came over and said Jay's Mums page has been cleaned up. We all looked at them and asked what do you mean Julie said I looked at her page maybe 12 months ago, and she had a heap of pictures of her at Cambridge, but 90 percent of them have been taken down, but it’s not just them it’s some pictures from her wedding as well.

Their mainly the ones of the guest that have been taken down.

Jay walked up and asked what’s up?

Ben being the oldest, took the lead and told him that Alex and Jennifer followed her Mum on Sunday, and they were surprised when Jennifer’s Mum went to your place.

Jay asked what time?

Jennifer looked at Alex and said about 12 o’clock. Alex said yes about then.

Jay said I’ve got ballet every Sunday between 11 and 1 o’clock with my little sister, so I have to wait for my sister to finish her class sometimes runs late, so sometimes we get home later, so Mum would have been home alone.

Jeremey said this is getting odd Ben agreed, and there’s Sam and Tom’s bus, so that means we have about 15 minutes till the start of classes.

Plus Jeremey has some pictures to take.

Julie and Jay said pictures?

Jeremey said, yes, pictures, and let’s start now. Ben, get over here with Julie and Jay.

Jeremey took the picture and sent it to Stacy straight away, and Ben said it was for the chess club and that he’d tell them more later.

The club met Sam and Tom as they came through the gate and we headed for our locker and classes.

We all met again at the first break like we normally do.

We started setting up the boards, and we talked about what had happened over the weekend?

I asked what they got up to. Julie told the other girls how interesting it was to ask her mother question and listen to her answers. If the blood didn’t gross me out, I’d do medicine.

Julie’s story really got Sam’s interest, Sam said that it sounded way more interesting than seeing our grandmother’s at their nursing home. We asked about your grandma’s life in the same place. Tom said yes, our mum’s decided it would be best if they were in the same place.

I said that kinda makes sense.

I asked Sandra what she did, and she told us her mum had taken her shopping in London.

She said well, Mum was actually getting herself some new work clothes as she got a promotion at the programming firm she works at.

Jennifer said that sounds cool clothes shopping in London would be great, I went with Alex and his mum clothes shopping, then we had lunch then she told them about Jack and what he did and what happened to him the girls were upset about Jack verbally abusing me, but they were glad he got arrested.

We asked Sam, Tom and Sandra did their mums go to Cambridge College

Sandra said her mum went to Bath College.

But Sam and Tom said their mums went to Cambridge.

I asked everyone if they'd noticed if their mums had started to hide their pictures of when they were at Cambridge.

Sam and Tom said they had noticed their mums had taken some pictures down, saying the frames are cracked and needed to be replaced.

Ben asked whether they could remember what the pictures were of. Sam said mainly group pictures but the odd one with 2 or 3 people in them.

Tom said it's the same with me too.

Jay said I didn't think anything of it, but my Mum had rearranged all the pictures in the house while I was at ballet yesterday.

Ben said his Mum had moved pictures as well.

I said I think it's obvious that they knew each other in college but why hide the fact?

The rest of the girls agreed with me but they couldn’t figure out why either.

Right then Jeremey came over and said I'm here to take some pictures seeing as the teachers are off having a sneaky smoke and the bitch isn't here.

Sandra said I didn't know she wasn't here Jeremey said yes my brother and sister have oafishly been found and she's gone to ask my father not to send them to a military school but my dad's mind is set. he'll never change it.

I asked why would she do that I don't mean this in a bad way but wouldn't she prefer your brother and sister out of her school?

Jeremey said I know what you mean it doesn't make sense to me either.

Sandra exclaimed it was because she's a sadistic bitch and she doesn't like giving up her control if you're brother and sister go to another school the bitch loses the bitch and tried to keep my cousin Bonnie here after they got caught toilet papering that teacher's house. But after the caning she gave Bonnie my cousin didn't want that bitch to have power over her anymore.

So my cousin asked me to go to another school. Her parents gave her an option of here or a military school so now she's at some military school in Scotland and now I only get to see her is in the holidays she's more like my sister than my cousin I miss her heaps.

That's why I know so much about the bitch ones I know enough I'll fuck her life up but good.

I know the bitch is a leather-wearing sadistic bitch as my neighbor Crystal is the area manager for a couple of nightclubs and bars and one of them is a fetish bar she told me she recognized Miss Bright from there I didn't believe her at first but then she showed me the CCTV footage of her leading a man and sometimes a lady on a leash into the club and she was dressed up in red and black leather and boots.

My neighbor Crystal said I couldn't have the tape as it would cost her her job but she has saved a lot of pictures of the bitch entering the club and if we get a court order she'd hand them over.

Jennifer said you're kidding right. Sandra shook her head I've seen 6 different videos and Crystal tells me there are other videos showing her inside the club but the footage is limited of her as they only have cameras pointing at the bar

We were a little shocked by Sandra's statement

Sandra said it sucks she gets her jollies off on punishing us

When I can get enough evidence I’m going to expose her to the school board she’ll be fucked

Jeremey said I didn’t know you hated her that much but that explains why she wants to know everything and that she’s so controlling and that tells me an area to look so I can refine my search online as I want to break her as well for what she does at this school yes I know my family has done some shity things but forcing people to do something that makes them feel humiliated is wrong.

Yes, the caning we got was well deserved even my brothers and sisters agree with that but the humiliation my sister endures every day because of that bitch makes my blood boil plus she lets your mothers get away with doing this to you.

She should have reported them to child welfare authorities

Sam and Tom both said yes we’d still be boys, not the sissies we are now.

We all could see the sadness in their eyes to raise the mood I asked Jeremey if he’d taken a picture of Sam, Tom, and Sandra yet? He said no Alex I haven’t yet. Come on you 3 and Ben get over her in the light so I can take your picture for the chess club. Then he asked me and Jennifer to stand next to Ben. Then he gave his phone to Jennifer and went to stand beside Ben so Jennifer could take their picture I’ll give these pictures to the school paper so they can post the members of the school's chess club that way you can hang out together and not raise too much attention from the teachers.

I said that’s an awesome idea then I asked Jeremey if he could search for pictures of all our mothers and any other proof that they knew each other at Cambridge College or anywhere else.

Jeremey said yes I'll do it as this secret is intriguing me as he tapped away at his phone and then said that's Stacy done now to write a little story and post it to the school paper.

That made me feel better as I had friends I could trust but I was starting to feel like I couldn't trust my own mother anymore as she was keeping things from me and it was things that didn't make sense why she was hiding them like what was the big deal if she knew my new friend's mums in college

That afternoon I had my first dance class with Jennifer and I really enjoyed it plus it gave me a really good workout and that's how it went for a couple of weeks dance class with Jennifer after school on Mondays the rest of the time we'd either be playing chess or studying or both as it was getting close to graduation and the end of year exams. Ben seemed to be putting everything into his studies for his final year exams.

Our end-of-year exams were full on as well, it was a stressful time for everyone.

So when I walked out of my last exam I was so happy I met Mum at the gate as we had the rest of the day off.

Mum greeted me with how did you do darling I said ok mum said I'm sure you did better than ok but I just shrugged as I'd been a little cold to Mum since the pictures were being moved and hiding things like that it was obvious she knew everyone's mother from the chess club well except Sandra's and Julie's mum that is.

She kept trying to get me to talk to her but I wasn't having a bar of it.

She'd even asked what was wrong. I just looked at her with you know what is wrong look

I could tell it was bugging her and sometimes she was a little upset about me not being my happy old self, to tell the truth, I was a little emotional lately and feeling a little depressed with having to dress like a girl the bras were making my chest saw. My nipples were getting sensitive plus with the stress of exams I wasn't real happy with mums bullshit lies so I didn't pay much attention mum so when she stopped at a black cab I didn't notice till she called my name then I turned around and mum said come on Alex get in I asked wears the car mum

Mum shook her head and said I was just telling you weren't you listening to me?

I said no I wasn't I was thinking about my exam

Mum said the car broke down and I had to get it towed and it's going to take 2 days to get it fixed so we'll have to cab it or walk.

When we got home Mum said let's have lunch she made sandwiches and I had my normal big glass of milk

Mum tried to engage me in small talk but other than being polite I didn't talk much to the point Mum asked why was I being so distant we used to talk a lot

So I thought I'd try something and asked ok then mum tell me about Cambridge College it must be a great place to study and you went there

The question put her on the back foot which I knew it would but she recovered and said it's a great school and you'll have a lot of fun there I asked if she had any friends from there as Jennifer told me her mum went there maybe you crossed paths?

Mum just gave a dismissive answer and changed the subject by telling me she needed some items from the shop and asked me to go get them which I was happy to do as it got me away from her and I could talk to Stacy as it didn't fill me with dread as Jennifer had been taking me for walks on the weekends and I was comfortable with going out now even by myself. So I asked Mum for the list then I headed to the shop I was quite happy with my school work but parts of my life were depressing so I didn't see the hand that grabbed me and pulled me into the alleyway and slammed me into the wall that I saw stars and couldn't see anything but then I heard a voice and it was jack

He yelled at me telling me that he had just gotten out of jail and he'd have to repeat the last 2 terms because of me getting him arrested and I was going to pay you little cocksucking faggot then he punched me in the stomach a couple of times and I started to slide down the wall and Jack said to hold the fairy up and I realized that there was someone else there holding me up.

Jack kept hitting me over and over like I was a punching bag then I was on the ground and I was being kicked I managed to cover my face and head with my arms but they kept kicking me I saw there were 3 of them.

The last thing I remember was Jack stomping down on my head repeatedly.
