Added 2016-07-09 00:17:33 +0000 UTCHey guys, sorry fro the delay in posting, i wanted to make sure this piece was the best I could offer when i got back from a convention XD well not much to say cept I've pretty much made all the water element ed horoscopes into mermaids ! This honestly took the most time to paint out of all horoscopes, I was tweaking around with alot of stuff , now that i think about it I'm spednign way more time now then before to complete a piece>.< I'm not completely satisfied with it but I do like the colors that I picked XD also try to incorporate the crab like design into her hair style XD

No one complains that all of Jim Davis' drawings look like Garfield. No one complains that J. Scott Campbell's girls all have the same face and body type. It's the expression of an artist style that makes their art instantly recognizable. There's nothing wrong with being really good at what you do, so please continue to do it.

Her hair style is definitely a relatively subtle way to incorporate the crab theme into this piece. I think it really works because you don't have to force it into the painting and it still evokes the Cancer sign. This is just an amazing painting overall, great job!
