Mirror Mirror (term 41)
Added 2016-09-21 23:51:16 +0000 UTCI had this idea for a while. My inspiration was from the classic tale of snow white. I had pictured a different time line where she had discovered the magic mirror and they are interacting in some way ,Who knows what the mirror's intentions are *_* ?

Honestly, I have to say that I didn't realize until you mentioned it that Snow White never really interacts with the Mirror in most versions of the tale. I actually had to kind of look it up to see. But anyway, this painting looks amazing. There is a lot of cool detail all around. One of the things I like is the ripple effect in the mirror as the Reflection is coming out. Your hair work is always amazing. The cool part in particular here is how the Reflection's hair is being pulled back; that's a nice bit of detail. I really love the contrast between both of them. Snow White has a very surprised expression to the situation. While the Reflection has this kind of hypnotizing and alluring look. Her eyes really does it; just really captivating. The colors are incredible. The use of green is really interesting. It's quite mystical and a bit ominous as well. Overall, you've done a really fantastic job with this painting.

2016-09-22 00:09:10 +0000 UTCOh, she's beautiful 😍. I adore the colours, her contrasting pale skin and raven hair and the vibrant reds and greens of the mirror, apple, lips and eyes. The swirling effect on the mirror is brilliantly painted and i love how the hair on the reflected Snow White is dragged back as she forces her way through. The expressions are terrific too, particularly the shocked look on the real Snow's face. Magnificent work, you really are just marvellous 😀💜
