Fallen (term 44)
Added 2016-12-13 00:50:43 +0000 UTCBeen a long time since I did a fullbody character piece :3 always wanted to paint somthing along the line of an angel falling. The background is pretty experimental as you can see I'm not a very used to painting sky backgroundsXD Had some trouble with it . But was interesting. I think I shoud be painting more skys it's actually a great way to creat mood .

And then also having it juxtaposed with the already blacked right wing. The particle effects look really amazing. The feathers burning off, the streaks of light, and the cloth ripping along with the direction of the fall look nice. Despite you having trouble with the sky background, I think it still came out looking really good. I agree that the sky is a good vehicle for creating mood. There are so many possibilities. Would love to see more pieces that take advantage of it. Overall this is a really pretty piece. Great job! ^^

I really would love to see what you can do with the character "Tyrael" from "Diablo III" when, disappointed by the inaction of the likes of him, (to save humanity), he decide to cut his own wings and to become human. By the way, even when it's experimental your work is amaizing :)

The way that her wings are literally transforming from white, heavenly feathers into the dark ones of the fallen as well as the motes of light streaming around her. Even her body language just reads of the descent. in more ways than one. Such a strong piece. Great work, Sakimichan.
