Hooray! I can hear you!

... seemed better, thanks enter key!

As someone who listens to these with (studio-quality) headphones usually, the audio quality is notablicably worse. I don't know the terms from the broadcasting or audio production business to describe what I mean here, the audio has a lot of what seems like compression artifacts, and on the fall off from each syllable of your speech there's a weird sort of compression that sounds really odd. It honestly made it kind of unpleasant to speak to. Could you try another mic? The video quality itself seemed

Sure beats the Chinese deathtrap! New video looks great! The sound of this one is much better than the previous video as well.

It's a Wileyfox Swift 2. So far it's looking promising. If I use the built in microphone it may result in less bassy and more balanced sound.

What kind of camera did you use on this? Video was clear and the audio was good...if not a bit on the border of clipping in some spots. There is an improvement in the crispness of the video.

I live in the US and wanted to come up with a Sous Vide system ( water pump and heater) outside the container. this looks like a good fit but what would be the draw at 115 VAC. I'm using a coffee urn with a 1200 watt heater in it currently. My natural gas hot water heater gives me 120*F water to start and I usually only have to get up to 170*F max. Once I get up to temp, I only need to sustain ( based on heat loss through the container + lid) that temp with a PID controller. I'm using a SSR to control the heating element directly. I don't usually add the meat ( in vacuum sealed bags) until after it gets to Soak Temp. The meat is usually at room temp ~ 70*F. The bath water would be recirculated so it should maintain most of its heat the next time through the bath. A temp probe in the bath into the PID would control the heater.

"This is sealed, but that's OK. I have a dremmel." That's t-shirt material, right there!

New video is nice and clear at 1080, audio also clear. First time I've ever seen a heater out of one of those that wasn't clogged with calcium deposits (we live in a very hard water area. These devices are a compromise, I've never used one that gave me a decent shower.

The thermal cutouts often cut-out after the shower is switched off, causing the next person to experience a longer delay before the water starts to heat up. This can't be good for the switch, so I always switch the shower to cold for a few seconds before switching it off.

Good teardown, I'd wondered what was inside. Certainly better than the 12v camping shower i use.

I think I used to have that exact shower.
