Put a lithium battery and a good charger in it and have that porta-disco that everybody will want! Color changing leds in the middle and lower sections, maybe in the disco light part as well. If it cannot survive as a real thing then perhaps give it life as something wonderful and absurd instead? I know I have the extra parts so I'm 100% certain that you do as well, Clive.
