In the UK the plug is polarised so that the fuse inside it is always on the live conductor. The neutral and earth are referenced together either at the substation or at the entry point to each house.

Hi Cliff, each time the UK plug appears, the phase (brown wire) is always under the earth pin on the right. Is this polarity (by regulation) also on the socket? And what is the point of having this feature as both are defined as live. In the Netherlands (imho) there is no polarity regulation.

The last time I noticed they were 12 for a dollar...with spermicidal lube! With condoms I'm sure the advertising budget is part of the cost but they must be cutting in the quality control department as well. That goes for the pregnancy tests too. I'm sure you can get freebies at the health department here but convenience would be a factor as well.

Dude, if you're paying £1 (or $1, since £≈$ these days) per condom you're over-paying (unless you're talking about multi-packs for £1). Just buy them from Amazon where they work out at around £0.30 each. And that's Durex, not some brandless mystery. (In the UK you can also get free condoms from NHS sexual health clinics, but that's pot luck on brand and usually super inconvenient) Totally agree re: pregnancy tests, though. Aren't those things normally £15 or so? I'd worry how they'd dropped the price so much!

I'm not sure how well that would work on the basis that I like just about anything that's edible. We do have a selection of American candy here. It's often sold as a novelty item. Mainly Reese's pieces, Tootsie rolls and Twinkies.

Cayenne is a pepper. Capsaicin (the hot in peppers) has anti-inflammatory properties. Seems like you would want the maximum inflammation if you are taking this 'supplement'.
