Cheap industrial contactor teardown.

This is a very cheap contactor from eBay.  I'd guess it's commonly used in Chinese factories, and it's ideal for low cost prototypes or home workshop use.

Love all this industrial lego stuff! Gets the mind working, thinking about what you could build with all this cheap stuff at a prototype level and appropriate working voltages. I'm thinking about a reasonably affordable Sim Racing cockpit with some motion/vibration feedback via some crazy combination of linear actuators, stepper motors, vibration motors/subsonic shakers, an arduino/rPi and a bunch of this Chinesium ebay switchgear.

I'm so far behind, but I'll get caught up tonight after a shot and a beer! Ugh...industrial contactors...part of my every day life, as I work QA for a reseller.

DIN is "Deutsche Industrie Norm" = German industrial norm :-)

Given that the JIB hands out electricians cards like candy these days, there are definitely quite a lot of "industrial contractors" that need torn down.

For some reason I read the title as "Cheap industrial contractor teardown", which struck me as unnecessarily cruel.

And if a contact goes high resistance it's not unknown for it to get hot enough to melt.
