Pink fish-killing LED thing.
Added 2017-03-01 03:57:34 +0000 UTCYeah, seriously. It's pink, it lights up and it may kill all your fish ar at least make them swim around at 50/60Hz with a loud buzzing noise.
My favourite bit of this is that the power supply pretends to be a 12V 500mA one and then bangs out 40V referenced directly to the mains.

Back in the 50s, one of my father's neighbors in Iowa used to use a hand-crank magneto from an old telephone and a generous length of wire to "dial up fish" at the local fishing hole. It looks like this is the same thing on a much smaller scale :-D
