Yeah, another video. (I'm on a roll.)

I'm recording quite a few videos at the moment, so here's another.

It's not about the size, what you use it for. Isn't it ladies? lol

I use 5inch mobile screen. Looks good.

At some point I will get some higher power vaping devices to look at. The technology has evolved quite a bit from the early units.

It sounds like it might be using a classic dimmer circuit with a thermistor as part of the control circuit. Like the units used in AC condenser units.

I watch Clive's videos on a 55" smart TV and have no problem with the zooming.

The zoom is great, saying this sitting infront of a 28" 4K display!

Yes it monitors tempature and adjust speed accordingly

Interestingly I just sent Clive a message on YouTube asking to tear down a Smoktech Alien. Tosses out up to 220volts with temp control and all the bells/whistles. Would LOVE to see inside one, but I don't want to tear MINE apart!

Is it a fan motor speed controller?

Hey Clive would you be intrested in a ventilation controller for teardown

Interesting. Some of the higher end vaping kit might be worth a tear down some time Clive. Tiny little buck/boost circuits able to deliver 80W or more using 1 or 2 high current 18650 Li-Mn batts. Some quite sophisticated control now as well. They started with variable voltage, but soon enough variable power (so you don't have to adjust settings based on resistance of the coil you are using) came along. Now a lot of the "mods" support temperature control - they measure the coil resistance as the current is applied to calculate the temperature and adjust the voltage as required whilst you are taking a drag. It seems to be another area which China really excels at. The vaping tanks from Kangertech, Aspire etc have also evolved a lot in the last few years and are much better than the original absorbent pad types like in your e-cigar...
