Not the safest kitchen appliance.

This little green USB blender is very much like the other pink one I looked at. But with a rather undesirable feature involving a sharp rotary blade.

I should add that I really quite like the original pink USB charged blender. It works quite well for making slushies out of frozen fruit, sugar syrup and water. And it also makes frothy milk shakes quickly.

Not the safest kitchen appliance.

I get amazon gift cards all the time as a thanks or a bonus from a few of my best customers I can give you a $15 USD virtual card *amazon or visa* to pick this up and use any balance for other neat/odd stuff for the channel. let me know.https://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-Warm-Bayonet-Dimmable-Light/dp/B010UQJW3E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1493526374&sr=8-2&keywords=philips+warmglow

Not sure about the sunset ones, but I was looking at the colour temperature changing ones in a suppliers catalogue. I may get some Philips lamps to look at.

Big Clive

I got some of the Philips bulbs that go "sunset" red when dimed, it was potted but with silicon that peeled off in a few chunks, odd bulb, think others would love to see one torn to bits. If I give you the cost of one or amazon one would you do the fun bit?

Regarding your reservation about totally discharged Lion cells. Lots of my projects are powered by 18650 cells harvested from old laptop batteries. If any cell meters out at less than 3V it gets chucked into the local battery recycling skip. I don't want to take the chance of interesting things happening when I try to charge them, although I use a decent charger (Nitecore Intellicharger).

This does raise the dilemma that during a power outage you're going to have to make the tough decision of whether you should use your blender to light your home, charge your phone or make a smoothie.

Big Clive

For me I'm always glad to have an extra flashlight nearby, and it gives the side benefit of being a quick test of the battery on the device. I can't imagine being in a situation where I'd remember to bring the blender but NOT the phone charger! Or saying to myself "As soon as this smoothie is done I've got to charge the phone!"

For anybody interested, the original pink one us still available from the same Malaysian seller (sayhello2015) at £10.60 though it now seems to come with a micro USB port instead of the type A and doesn't have the USB out port of the latest version in your video. On Amazon the juicer in your latest video is £15.96 and what looks like the original pink one is £20 and more colours. According to the blurb, your original version has charge/discharge protection. I wonder if someone may be a fan of yours :).

As always, pink show it's innate superiority :)

Looks like a fluorescent starter.

USB Charging ports are the "new LED Flashlight" on Chinese stuff. Ever notice that for years absolutely EVERY electronic gizmo that came from China had a "flashlight" on it? Why does my 2 way radio and portable power bank need a friggin LED flashlight??

Surprise capacitor(?) at 3:58, and it disappears just as mysteriously at 4:13!

I can't think of a time in my life that I've ever thought, "Gee, I REALLY wish I could charge my phone using this blender".
