Autopsy of a failed circuit breaker.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WcxISVcIpCA

Another circuit breaker autopsy, but this one failed safely.

It was sent for our teardown pleasure by Thomas Nagy who has a channel on YouTube following his daily life as a London electrician. (Link in the video description)

Nice to be able to see inside of a failed breaker. I'm used to seeing them cooked to a crisp! LOL

That made me laugh!! I must find out who that original spark was - my mother-in-law needs some electrical work carried out ;-)

Could Ralfy do an autopsy on that? Yikes. Just joking

I'm impressed at the way he just pokes that screwdriver into the missing fuseholder - trust in insulation! In the follow-up he's wiring-in lights with the lights-on - before I work on electrics I'd like everything turned-off this side of the power-station ;0

That was the one that turned me on to his channel when it popped up in my Recommended's several weeks ago. The Part 2 vid is less cringe-inducing but still shows some impressively terrible work. Thank goodness Tom knows what he's doing.

Tom (and Tom!)'s videos are very good I particular recommend this (his first - I believe - minor swearing warning etc.) - deathtrap wiring 101 - someone LIVES in that house https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcWIKZtCPwA

Another interesting autopsy, thank you Clive.
