An even BIGGER LED array (600).

Well this COB array of 600 LEDs is now the biggest I've seen to date.

Needless to say I tested it and shorted out an individual LED to see how it was wired (differently to the last one) and then drilled a hole in the middle too.

Clive, I have to hand it to you, your technique of drilling pcbs with a hand-held drill works amazingly well. When I was making disco lighting controllers back in the late 70's. early 80's, I made a lot of pcbs and always used a miniature drill in a drill press. So, I bought a Minicraft drill off eBay last week and tried your technique - works great!! I would never have thought of that..

Damn!! My previous panels (one on the left) haven't even arrived yet from China.. I'm struggling to keep up ;-)

Gordo

I didn't, but I'd guess that was quite an expensive LED.

Did you know that Monsanto made LEDs? <a href="https://imgur.com/gallery/CcfeKTU" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://imgur.com/gallery/CcfeKTU</a>

My Echo Dot springs to life whenever you say "...and let's er..." 🙂

You lot are just like women, talking about size, size, size! It isn't the be-all and end-all of things ;-).

Yeah, I noticed that afterwards once the video had been filmed.

Free silicon gel dirt! Bargain1

You do find some great LED's to try i purchased 2 of the first rectangular cob ones in this series of 3 so far and wow they are bright at 1amp lol

Unfortunately, focusing on the cheat sheet actually made it worse!

GOOD GRAVY that's a large panel! O_O I had a weird thought of lining a wall with these and adhering a special clear silicone adhesive over it to adhere glass tiles without any backing (or only the cloth-mesh backing to hold them together) as a sort of mood lighting (run them only at about 10.5 volts).

I think the good ones will be kept for the main factory customers. You don't know what you're going to get until it arrives and you test it.

Shame about the leds being mismatched, as I can think of quite a few applications for this array... Hopefully sellers will start stocking some better quality ones soon.
