More flash paper. This time shipped wet in larger sheets.

I may not have allowed this to dry completely, so it may burn faster once properly dried.

There are a lot of different magic props available from China now. I have a few of the traditional USA made ones like a wand and a couple of hand fireball shooters.

That's how the place looked when I moved in. The only change I made was removing the face-height chandelier and adding three pinball machines. The moulding may be to hide cracks.

Big Clive

Not seen that variant. I've ordered one.

I like the crown molding and the choice of color for the walls. I think we used as similar color at our old house. ^^

Off-topic, but: have you seen these flying disco balls? We found one at the discount store, and it turns out to suck a lot less than I'd expected. It has a definite "off-brand cyberpunk future" feel to it when it's in a dark room. This looks to be exactly the same thing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Flash-Flying-Ball-Infrared-Induction-Colorful-LED-Disco-RC-Helicopter-kids-Toy-M/311943191953?epid=2254427392&hash=item48a1435d91:g:I2gAAOSwWxNYnpWv

When proper dry flash paper is used it usually goes up instantly in a flash.

Clickbaity title there..

For the stuff that allegedly launched the first men at the moon (well, according to a certain Mr. Verne anyway), this thing burns disappointingly calmly...

Used flash paper some years ago. Used to just take out enough for that nights show for the wizard who had a flash ring (on his finger) kept the rest wet sealed in a tin. Had a couple nights off and left it with stage manager with instructions to only use what was needed and keep the rest wet. Apparently the first night I wasn’t there he took it all out and left it on a radator to dry thinking it would save time messing about with drying small pieces on the day. The wizard had to go without his flash ring for that night and the rest of the production. I wasn’t buying anymore as deamed it to dangerous to leave with anybody else after stage manager could have burned theater down. Shame it was very effective in the show.
