This looks like it's designed to replace the 2D or circular fluorescent lamps in standard bulkhead style light fittings. It's quite neat inside.

Where were you when I was sitting in the library reading books from 1960 forty years ago? :/ I always remembered by thinking that if you go in the direction of the arrow on a diode, you crash into that big wall.

I taught myself from books using electron flow several decades ago, and to this day seeing someone refer to current flowing the "conventional" direction messes with my head. It made electrical engineering classes hell as well.
