Neat edge-lit channel logo.

This sign was made for me by a chap called Tom who 3D printed the base, laser etched the panel and fitted a section of USB powered remote control RGB strip.

It's very neat.

The logo was created by a chap called Ben. I like it.

Big hand for Tom. That is some fine work. By the way Clive, is the channel logo your own work or contributed by someone else? Apologies if this has been answered previously and I missed it. I'm calling for a 1-hour long video of this thing colour-changing with "Shitty Pink Charger" on loop. Call it 'Exercise Soundtrack Motivation Video' and I bet youtube will let you monetise it. ;)

Really nice blend of cheap eBay electronics, 3D printing and laser etching/engraving... the effect on the perspex / acrylic is really nice! You should get a 3D printer Clive... can do some really nice stuff with them... and they are getting cheaper and cheaper with decent print qualities. Also makes things like custom cases and parts for random electronics projects easy ;)

Oh man that is awesome! Nice work and Clive is most deserving I think we'll all agree. Maybe someone will do a Ralphie logo on a whiskey bottle or something?

Common LED strip cut to length?

Interesting technique.

Yes, a very angry ghost D;

Oh, and given the season, anybody besides me think that was the standard logo except that the beard part had been replaced by a ghost looking up and shaking his phantom fists? Maybe I've seen to many Halloween decorations lately. :)

Neat! I've got a leather base with two plastic panels, it was a cheap xmas gift from $Work and was supposed to be a picture holder I think. One of projects on my "fun" list is to figure out how to add an RGB LED to the base for illumination, then figure how what I can sandwich between the panels that will light up.

As soon as you got a 3d printer i can show you a new method for making circuit boards. I tried the method just out of curiosity and it worked better than i expected. Its good for many small not that complicated circuit boards. You 3d print a template with holes where the tracks will be, you lay the template on the bord spray some clear laquer on it and etch it after lettong the laquer dry. Not the best method but it works

I have a similar design except i made a rigid pcb which slides into a groove from the end and integrated a USB controller chip.

they have pink PLA ? well i have a thought

God 420

He didn't use pink PLA but hey, everybody can make a mistake, right?
