Poundland LED floodlight.

This is the non-profanity version of this video, since Vince the crew chief managed to inadvertently make me say the word "c*nt" in the first version.  If you guys want I can release the other version here and you can make the decision of which version gets released for general viewing on YouTube.

I should mention that despite coming from Poundland this light actually cost £5.

I have a similar looking light on my wall in the garden. That as started flashing when the light is switched off. But seems to work fine when switched on. Do you think it is wired up wrong to flash when switched off.? Or is the switch faulty?

I tend to agree with others that probably best to release the non profanity version on YouTube since you never know who will complain and cause problems. More than happy for the profanity version to be on Patreon.

Good video. Lose the other version as some pre-teen could see it and complain to their parents then YouTube might ban you. Better safe and still around than dangerous and gone.

I'm not strongly minded either way, the rude remark doesn't add to the video IMO. But others like it... meh.

I wonder what its actual power consumption is with the power meter. I'm also surprised how much solar wall solar lights have improved. For example, I bought a basic 20 LED sensor solar light last year to make it easier finding our way inside when arriving at the house at night. To my surprise, it's about as bright as the mains powered outdoor bulkhead light, which has a 11W LED bulb in it. It often catches us out when heading to bed as we go to switch off the outside light only to realise it's already off and that our cat is pacing about on a nearby window keeping the sensor light lit.

Wonder if IPA would dissolve, or at least soften that glue to the point where the glass could be removed safely? For £5 (or probably €7 here in Ireland), it's a nice wee light.

I expect a few “transients” in pure BC so no worries here! On the issue of the glue, would a heat gun soften it? Of course the heat sink case may be too good a heat sink to allow enough softening. Also, if gentle heat worked on the glue it might also cause the lens to drop off after long use. A little mental meandering here. Apologies.

As they say, in for a penny in for a pound. Bin the poncy version, go for the real stuff.

Uncensored. I want the pure BC experience!

uncensored for the pateron but for general public I might go to the PG rating

Uncensored.

AvE would be proud of Vince’s use of the thumb detector.

+1 for uncensored ☺️
