Sainsburys solar lights.
Added 2019-08-29 23:06:18 +0000 UTCI made a few short videos to try and reduce the amount of stuff I was carrying back as luggage. These lights are now on their way directly to the Isle of Man along with lots of other technical treasures. I still had to bring back lots of technical stuff though, along with my tool bag.

It's a pretty standard unit, but the amorphous solar panel wins it points.

2019-08-30 22:54:31 +0000 UTCThe best use of these lights is to rip out the guts, replace the solar controller with a resistor, some heat shrink and a USB lead, then just plug them in to a power bank. Did this with a few sets early in the summer to take to friends up north, means you get a nice light all night for sitting out on the decking, useless for sitting out in the rain after that though.
