Hey Clive. How ya doing, I was on edge when I noticed that one you had yet to heatshrink. Do you not have a bench mains supply ? I got hold of an isolating transformer and a very naughty two way spring terminal like the one on the hopi. The rest of the sockets are wired normally + the whole bench has a 10ma RCD. We don't want to see you smoking and I don't mean cigarettes !

In hindsight it could have made the video a lot more entertaining if I'd grabbed or shorted that one.

Why am I not seeing anyone point out that the fourth to last one had no heat shrink. I flinched when he grabbed them the first time kept waiting for it to spark or for him to get zapped I'm so glad you're okay

I seem to recall Clive saying his shoes are size 12 or 13 depending on the company/style -- but I could be wrong. He also said he finds that in some sneakers his feet feel too awfully hot, so he cuts the tongues out of some of them.

I think that all neons are the same colour (except those tubes used to make shop signs); might that have been a bag of multi-coloured LEDs by any chance?

Those do look unique and cool! A while back I ordered a bunch of different colors of little neon lamps when you built your flowers out of them. I never got around to building them so I keep running into the bag full of bags full of neons. Built my own fairy lights, hmm...

Your use of clear heatshrink reminded me of something. Many (mostly in the USA) vloggers use a naked flame from a lighter or something similar to shrink down heatshrink. In the electronics lab where I used to work, I knew that getting caught using a lighter on heatshrink was a crime that could easily lose you your job. I must admit that I still wince whenever I see someone doing it. What are your thoughts on naked flame heat shrinking?
