Isnt that basically what 5g is but with more advanced cell tower switching and authentification?

Telling them about lower energy photons having no chemical effect, for example, seems to bounce off people who didn't do enough chemistry to see the link between photon energy and the chemistry of the electron energy levels.

It seems to me the strongest argument for the 'man on the street' is that the frequencies being used from mast to phone have all been studied for many years and found harmless.

Sadly you cant convince idiots. I work with programmers and circuit board designers and some of them believe in conspiracy theories.

5G is indeed a joke. It would be more effective to literally put WiFi masts every 30meters and create a giant mesh network.

Yeah Sean. 5G is a joke here in the US. Especially in the NY area. Friends go "ooh i got a 5G phone" and I basically have to tell them not to hold their breath. The only carrier I have hope for, in the short term at least, is T Mobile. They are using 600 MHz and that will be fantastic.

I don't have a problem with future technologies or even using new bands for communications. BUT, 5G, at least as it's being implemented in the USA is a joke. The largest carrier here has tried using 28GHz & 39GHz bands. No, that's not a typo, no decimals there. Neither one of those frequency bands can be picked up inside my car, next to the mast, with a Verizon field tech in the passenger seat, no less. Even in clear air, line-of-sight, the summertime rains here are heavy enough to wipe out the 39GHz band. They tried lighting up a couple of football stadiums with it and failed. Worse, there's been some very dirty politics played in the USA about it. For example, in my state, the outgoing governor passed a law which allowed the mobile companies to plant masts anywhere they pleased on government land, and the local councils aren't allowed to do anything about it. So, they're sprouting up like unsightly weeds in many areas.

All that is needed to debunk this “5G is deadly” nonsense, is to read up on the difference between ionizing and non-ionizing radiation. 😏

Hey if you can point out the reasoning better than what's been written in Articles, go right ahead. It does get into complex things beyond electronics though, not entirely sure if you're a wireless communications expert (whatever degrees/bachelors that requires).

Me and my better 3/4 went over a friends place and his wife was borderline hysterical about 5G. She started going down I would say like a check list of how 5G was dangerous. As she went down the list I would rationally explain how each item she told me was wrong and explained it to and even offered to show her if she doubted me. I almost started laughing because she seemed to deflate after I explained the truth. I would say I was lucky that she would listen to reason. Usually its the same people that think 5G is going to kill us also think the world is flat and the moon landings were fake also.
