Hey Clive hope you are doing well. What is the most common fault in a screw in CFL bulb, if there is one? By the way, I had Hernia surgery on a strangulated Hernia on my 17th birthday, missed the 1980 Olympics but did get to meet the American hockey team( they flew out of Plattsburg AFB (my father got chose to help load their luggage on to the plane) on their way to the White house to meet the President. Any way I have had no problems since and lead an extremely active life till my late 40, and still have no problems with my hernia now, so hopefully you will have the same luck. On the other hand, there was an older gentleman in the same hospital wing who was in after his Hernia surgery 10 years before had retorn when he picked up his 10 pound grand-daughter. So I guess there is always reason to watch what you pickup. Stay healthy, you are one the few things on the net that I dont end up screaming at.

EBay will still refund and if they have to refund enough times they will crack down on these things

Add a smoke machine and some lasers, those bugs won't know what hit them.

They've been around for a while, but that is one of the highest prices I've seen for one.

If you grab the light firmly and bash it against a surface it will kill germs. It might take a while to cover the entire surface but they never said it was fast.

If it was a UVC spectrum lamp/bulb and you put a piece of lunch meat directly underneath it for ~20 minutes would it visibly react any differently than a non-UVC spectrum light(assume they were the same temperatures)? I am not trying to cook lunch meat however I am trying to figure out a safe way to determine if I have a UVC light or not.
