Mini plastic desktop fan heater.
Added 2020-01-02 00:44:38 +0000 UTCI've got to admit that the design of this heater isn't too bad. It does have a couple of layers of thermal protection, but I'm pretty sure that to be UK compliant it might need a single shot thermal fuse as a last resort.
Other than that, it's not a bad design. The PTC based heater module looks like a standard component and everything else has been fitted optimally in the case without being too tight.
The fan power supply is also very simple with a bit of filtering for brush and rectifier noise.

Still, without a one shot thermal fuse and with the live fins on one side that could be reached by a child with a pin it wouldn't pass CE or UL standards. After Brexit I guess that won't matter to you guy. It'll be the standards free Wild West over there, right? That *was* the whole point of Brexit, wasn't it, to be free of pesky regulations?
