Saturday's stream.

Comments

Interesting. I've ordered a couple of types to look at.

That chaos panel rocks

Cerity

So I finish up some late chores, make some dinner and I arrive just in time for the stream to end. Shitty timing for me this week, but my first A4 Chaos Panel is finished and even sounds like I want it to! Wooo post project endorphins! Dopamine for the win

Michael Thompson

Within reason it should be OK. But a larger panel and full sunshine could shorten the life of a battery being trickle charged.

Big Clive

Ah, so someone else did think of the lube-tube gas option.

Would replacing a solar lights panel with one with more current output, for longer run times, have any negatives?

Kevin Hardisty

For the real experience you need to get the trashiest run and ginger beer (or ginger ale) that you can.

Big Clive

I have finely found some real ginger beer in Kansas and have been practicing drinking dark and stormies all week. I use Sailor Jerry rum which is 92 proof. Is 15:00 local time too early to start joining you?

Effectively storage.

Big Clive

You mention things you don't have on IoM but are in Glasgow (like your other arcade machines). Do you have a property there or are they in storage?

Simon Pain

It might work if the two houses are on the same phase, but I'd expect the lower impedance of the main cables to mess with things. In a way, maybe that's good as it might be possible to tap into other houses powerline networks.

Big Clive

I'd want the crushing removed as fast as possible. Perhaps wedges put in to stop further pressure. I'd tray and save many things from a house fire. Sadly, many would be too heavy to move and are irreplaceable.

Big Clive

Clive here's a question. When using those powerline network adaptors instead of wifi, why can't you use them to network between 2 houses in the same street?

Mike Hanley

A couple of questions for the live stream perhaps. 1, If your home was on fire, what would be the one and only thing you saved. 2, (this came up at work) If you were involved in an accident at work using an overhead crane ( no fault of the crane, op error). And you were being seriously crushed, would rather they took whatever it was crushing you off with the crane ( the crane not being at fault but an error by the operator) or would you rather they waited until the emergency services arrived and removed it using their own equipment. The answer (at my place of work at least) is you have to wait for the emergency services to arrive.

I'm not gonna repeat what I thought that said. Dodgy font on Patreon.

Whippet Gas

Yes. I need to get it mounted into a door so I can play it.

Big Clive

I'll be able to attend, woo! I'm loving these titles!

Michael Thompson

pachinko machine?

This picture reminds me that during lock-down 'Carters Steam Fair' were running on-line courses on how to paint fairground equipment.

Andrew Donaldson

I have no questions, because as in the 'Prisoner TV series' "Questions are a burden to others; answers a prison for oneself"
