USB rechargeable atomizing gun.

This one's pretty neat, but much coarser and messier than the previous mains voltage heated unit though.

The pump's quite smart looking inside.

We had something similar to this when I went cleaning at the coop for a few weeks. It used to spray a good 6-10ft. I hate those rotating polishers. They are evil and the freezers still bear the scars.......

Paul Noble

It's not bad. For spraying down large areas with sanitiser it would beat continually squeezing a trigger spray gun.

That diode after the 78L05 might be to make sure the analog readings are perfectly in scale (internal 5v reference can mess up the reading if the input voltage is over 5v so they make sure it's always under 5v) and that micro probably has no analog reference input to fix the issue in another way

That would be a handy sprayer for spraying small patches of weeds.

I'm glad you disposed of your soiled tissue!

Wow that thing is not the best. I would use it for washing windows maybe

Michael Thompson

I didn't notice that. Keep in mind that I was just creating a slow effect by matching the speed to the camera shutter, so it may have been going in the other direction.

EDTA "suitable for vegans".... REALLY! (made me laugh)

Bit of an odd question ...I noticed when you took the bearing end plate off the pump, it has two direction arrows molded in the front of the plastic (pointing clockwise), yet when you switched the motor on it appeared to turn in a counter clockwise direction. What's the point of the arrows? ...'scuze the pun.

Adding F&S to the podcast list thanks. #ASKIAN How do you feel about people giving you recommendations for music/film. I have fallen in love with the music from Amigo the Devil and based on your music taste I would think that you would love it. (not really a question)

I see in one of the listings that this has a "strong blu-ray switch" which is certainly reassuring.

I need to watch the video but the title reminds me of the Simpsons... "YOU THERE! TURN OUT YOUR POCKETS! Just as I suspected, ATOMS!"

Wouldn’t pressure make up for tip design ❓ for instance in these pressure washers there’s the compressor for the air, but the water is abrading on its own.. water jet cutting being a specialized type of application

Cerity

With a finer nozzle or a mister, that could have been great.

I do sometimes get messages from the original designers.

Big Clive

It does seem well-made. I really like when you point out the odd, not-obvious parts of the circuit designs. Clive, have you ever had the designer of one of the circuits you've reverse-engineered contact you to explain some of the more "interesting" design choices you've pointed out?
